Abstract: Systems and methods for generation and use of intellectual-property (IP) analysis platform architectures are disclosed. A value modeling component may be utilized to generate financial metrics for IP assets using user seeded searches in varying areas of interest, such as, for example, target technical fields, targeted publications, targeted products, and/or target entity portfolios. The value modeling component may be further utilized to produce an interactive graphical element including a spatial representation of the financial metrics associated with the IP assets. The interactive graphical element may include various functionalities and/or information associated with the of IP assets. The value modeling component may utilize data from a coverage component, an opportunity component and/or an exposure component to assess a comprehensive score associated with a group of IP assets of a targeted entity.

Abstract: Features attributable to non-deliberate cashier shrink are identified within a given store's historical transaction data. A machine-learning model is trained on the features to predict shrink events over a future interval of time. Each prediction is also associated with a specific prescriptive recommendation, which if followed, eliminates or otherwise mitigates the likelihood that the predicted shrink event occurs during the corresponding time interval. Each prediction can be specific to a given cashier for the future interval of time. The predictions and corresponding prescriptive recommendations can be provided to store managers in advance of a start of the future interval of time, which allows the manager to follow the prescriptive recommendations and potentially avoid the shrink events altogether.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for constructing a virtual environment for a ride-hailing platform are disclosed. An exemplary method comprises: obtaining a plurality of historical interaction trajectories each comprising one or more interaction records between a driver and a ride-hailing platform, each interaction record comprising a program recommendation of the ride-hailing platform to the driver and a reaction of the driver in response to the program recommendation; training a simulator based on the plurality of historical interaction trajectories; and integrating a reward function with the simulator to construct the virtual environment, wherein the plurality of first program recommendations and the plurality of reactions form a plurality of simulated interactions, and a data distribution of the plurality of simulated interactions approximates a data distribution of a plurality of interaction records in the plurality of historical interaction trajectories.

Abstract: A production allocation determining apparatus is configured to calculate a total supply function model representing a relationship between a total supply quantity and a marginal cost; calculate, based on current supply quantities, change rate constraints, and on capacity upper and lower limits, supply quantity upper and lower limits of the respective producers at a time s; calculate an optimum price based on the total supply function model, a predicted value of a demanded quantity at the time s, and on the supply quantity upper and lower limits; and calculate, based on the supply quantity upper and lower limits, the supply function models, and on the optimum price, optimum supply quantities. Calculation of the supply quantity upper and lower limits, calculation of the optimum price, and calculation of the optimum supply quantities are repeatedly executed from the time s=T to the time s=1.

Abstract: A system and method of advanced merchandising and shelf restocking. The system allows merchants to embellish static retail section plans or “planograms” and digitize them in an interactive way for a variety of tasks. The system shows which products/components should be removed and provides an efficient way of indicating products for restocking. This system can also be used to create analytical reports based off historic data or via data imported from outside sources so long as it relates to what is stored in the virtual plan. Other aspects of the system include the addition of merchandising notes, auditing photo capture, color coding for instructions, a comprehensive logging mechanism, and other improvements.

Abstract: Methods and systems for process analysis include determining attributes of an event log relating to a process. Attributes of an end task of the process are determined based on a comparison of a vector representation of the end task to vector representations to a set of criteria relating to process representations. Hyper-parameters of process mining models are tuned based on the attributes of the event log and the attributes of the end task. The process mining models are ranked based on the attributes of the event log and the attributes of the end task. The event log is mined using a top-ranked process mining model to generate a process representation. An inefficiency of the process is identified based on the process representation. The inefficiency is automatically corrected.
