摘要： The present invention is an inflatable protective cushion to be worn by people in high speed and high impact sports such as snowboarding for cushioning the blow when falling on their rear, or for sitting on as a seat when working on their boot bindings. The inflatable protective cushion comprises a pouch made of flexible and non-stretchable fabric material. The pouch has at least four constricted compartments parallel to one another, each constricted compartment containing an inflatable membrane made of flexible impervious material, where the inflatable membrane is arranged in constricted configuration. The inflatable protective cushion further comprises a valve means for inflating the inflatable membrane and maintaining a desired pressure therein, and means for attaching the pouch to the wearer, such that each of the two opposite hip regions of the wearer's body is overlapped by at least two of the at least four constricted compartments of the pouch.

摘要： An adjustable attachable coaster that snaps on any beverage can, disposable coffee cup, and all sizes of soft drink cups. The coaster gives the beverage container a wide base with a no-slip bottom when attached. It is designed to sit on any surface including dashboards, passenger seats, car consoles, stuffed chairs, sofas, beds, waterbeds, picnic grass, and all boat deck surfaces. The user merely takes this coaster out of the glove box or other convenient storage area, sets it down on any surface, and then places the can, plasticware or disposable cup in the middle of the coaster and snaps the hook on the upper edge of the container. The hook is attached to an elastic shock cord. There is a downward pressure from the elastic shock cord and the bottom of the container is "locked" in the recess or other transverse surface below. The beverage container now becomes one with the no-slip base. The no-slip material on the bottom of the coaster simply works by the friction of the textured material that allows it to stick to most surfaces to a forty (40) degree tilt. The beverage with the attached coaster now has a very wide base with a lowered center of gravity. It is very difficult to knock it over and therefore the container is able to withstand sudden forces imparted to it, such as the shock of a sudden stop of the car or other vehicle. The user drinks with the coaster attached.

摘要： A new and novel packaging system in which an inflated bellows or bladder system is inflated around a fragile item such as a glass drinking vessel and conforms to the shape of the item so that it is securely restrained within its shipping box to prevent the object from moving while the box is shipped. The fragile item moves to the center of the box when the air bladder is inflated with air around the fragile item. As the pressure increases, the bladder will hold the item in the center of the box. A one-way check valve extends from the bladder to a location in a hole in the box or out of the box so that bladder can be easily filled. When the package arrives at its destination, a kinked tube is relaxed to allow air to leave the bladder to remove the object.

摘要： A method of detecting staining on a media item is described. An example method includes receiving an image of the media item, including a plurality of pixels having different intensity values within a range of intensity values, applying central weighting to the received image, applying a threshold to each pixel in the centrally-weighted image to transform each pixel to a binary value, comparing a pixel in the evaluation image with a pixel in a binary reference image to create a difference image including (i) a stain pixel at each spatial location in which a pixel in the evaluation image has a low intensity pixel and the corresponding pixel in the binary reference image has a high intensity pixel, and (ii) a non-stain pixel at all other spatial locations. The media item is identified as stained in the event that the difference image meets a staining criterion.
