    Abstract: A system includes a flow inlet conduit and a primary conduit that branches from the flow inlet conduit for delivering flow to a set of primary nozzles. An equalization bypass valve (EBV) connects between the flow inlet conduit and a secondary conduit for delivering flow to a set of secondary nozzles. The EBV is connected to an equalization conduit (EC) to apportion flow from the flow inlet conduit to the secondary conduit. A pressure equalization solenoid (PES) is connected to the EC to selectively connect at least one of a servo supply pressure (PFA) conduit or return pressure (PDF) conduit into fluid communication with the EC. A relief management valve (RMV) is connected in the PDF conduit.

    Abstract: A spool and sleeve assembly for a metering valve comprises a spool body defining a center axis, and a sleeve body having a bore that receives the spool body. The sleeve body includes at least one metering window open to the bore and is moveable between a metering position to control flow through the metering window and a shutoff position where flow is prevented from exiting an outlet end of the bore. A seal assembly reacts between the spool body and the sleeve body to provide at least a first sealing interface and a second sealing interface axially spaced from the first sealing interface when the spool body is in the shutoff position. A metering valve for a fuel system is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A bleed valve includes a valve body, a first flapper body movable relative to the valve body between an open position and a closed position, and a second flapper body movable relative to the valve body between an open position and a closed position. A resilient member biases the first and second flapper bodies to the open position to vent bleed air. The first and second flapper bodies move to the closed position when a pressure load across the first and second flapper bodies exceeds a biasing force of the resilient member. A gas turbine engine is also disclosed.

    Abstract: In one aspect, a pressure regulating valve assembly is provided. The valve assembly includes a housing having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, a sleeve positioned within the housing, and a spool at least partially positioned within the sleeve. The spool includes an outer surface having a shoulder, and the spool is configured to translate within the sleeve between a closed position and an open position. The valve assembly further includes a cap coupled to the sleeve and surrounding at least a portion of the spool, and the cap includes an inner surface with a flange extending therefrom. In the closed position the spool shoulder abuts against the cap flange to define a sealed metering edge. In the open position the spool shoulder is spaced from the cap flange to unseal the metering edge and define a metering window to facilitate fluid flow therethrough to the fluid outlet.
