Abstract: In an example, a method includes acquiring, at a processor, object generation source data representing a three-dimensional object to be generated in additive manufacturing. A dataset which is representative of an aspect of the three-dimensional object may be determined from the object generation source data. Digital security may be applied to the object generation source data and the dataset. The digital security applied to the object generation source data may be different from that which is applied to the dataset.

Abstract: According to examples, a three-dimensional (3D) fabrication system may include fabrication components and a controller. The controller may control the fabrication components to fabricate parts of a 3D object in a build envelope, the parts to be assembled together to form the object, and in which the parts are fabricated at locations corresponding to relative positions of the parts with respect to each other in the assembled object. Each voxel layer defines a plurality of voxel rows including an initial voxel row. The method includes for each voxel layer: exclusively oring (XORing) a key voxel row with the Initial voxel row to provide an initial delta row; and for each voxel row from the voxel row following the initial voxel row to a further voxel row of the plurality of voxel rows, XORing each voxel row with the previous voxel row to provide a delta row for each voxel row.

Abstract: A computer program product for generating data for a three-dimensional (3D) printable object includes a computer readable storage medium. The computer readable storage medium includes computer usable program code embodied therewith. The computer usable program code, when executed by a processing device converts mesh data into a volumetric voxel data set. The voxel data set is organized as an N-ary tree defining at least a portion of the 3D printable object. The computer usable program code converts the N-ary tree of the voxel data set into print instructions defining a truss structure, and prints the 3D object including the truss structure.

Abstract: A method is described in which data representing a three-dimensional object to be printed is obtained. The data comprises object property data indicative of properties of the three-dimensional object. Layers within the three-dimensional object to be printed are identified. The obtained data is processed by comparing object property data associated with an identified layer to object property data associated with a reference layer selected from the identified layers. Where a difference in object property data associated with an identified layer and object property data associated with a reference layer is determined, the determined difference is stored.
