Abstract:
Methods and nodes for transmission of downlink control channel signals in a downlink frequency carrier of a wireless communication system, wherein at least two PRB pairs, configurable for the transmission of a downlink control channel have different numbers of time-frequency resource elements available for the transmission of said downlink control channel. The method comprises allocating at least one set S of PRB pairs; arranging time-frequency resource elements from said set S into an aggregation comprising at least one level; determining a set LS of aggregation levels supported for the transmission of a downlink control channel within the allocated set of PRB pairs, based on the number of time-frequency resource elements available for the transmission of a downlink control channel in PRB pairs of the set S; and transmitting the downlink control channel within said set S of PRB pairs.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus are provided for facilitating synchronization between a base station (BS) and a user equipment (UE) in a mobile communication system. The UE receives a synchronization signal originated by the BS. The synchronization signal is encoded with a selected cyclically permutable (CP) codeword. Encoding of the synchronization signal is facilitated by a repetitive cyclically permutable (RCP) codeword derivable from the selected CP codeword. The RCP codeword has a plurality of codeword elements each associated with a value, the value of at least one codeword element in the RCP codeword being repeated in another codeword element position in the RCP codeword. And the synchronization signal is decoded in accordance with repetitive structure of the RCP codeword.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method in a network control node for transmission of control channel signals in a wireless communication system, the wireless communication system employing scheduling of physical resource blocks (PRBs) used for each new transmission of a control channel signal, wherein each control channel signal is related to one or more control channel elements (CCEs); the method comprising the steps of: removing user specific reference signals in associated physical resource blocks (PRBs) if the associated physical resource blocks (PRBs) comprises at least one control channel signal; inserting control channel signals in the associated physical resource blocks (PRBs); and transmitting the associated physical resource blocks (PRBs). Furthermore, the invention also relates to a computer program, a computer program product, and a network control node device thereof.
Abstract:
Signaling resource partition of a component carrier in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The number of primary resource blocks and the number of extension resource blocks of the component carrier is encoded and signaled to a UE, so the UE can obtain the resource partition of the component carrier.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for transmit diversity of HARQ-ACK information feedback in a wireless communication system, said system being adapted to employ transmit diversity and non-transmit diversity transmissions of HARQ-ACK information feedback, said method comprising: assigning uplink control channel resources and modulation symbols to HARQ-ACK states for at least two antenna ports such that said HARQ-ACK states are abled to be transmitted when associated uplink control channel resources are implicitly reserved, wherein at least one of said uplink control channel resources is assigned to more than one of said at least two antenna ports, and wherein uplink control channel resources and modulation symbols assigned to HARQ-ACK states for one of said at least two antenna ports is the same as when non-transmit diversity of HARQ-ACK information feedback is employed; and transmitting HARQ-ACK states assigned according to said assignment step on said at least two antenna ports.
Abstract:
Uplink control information transmission method, and a network node and a UE implementing the method are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the invention, uplink control information is transmitted from a UE to a network node by defining a set including at least one of the of uplink component carriers being usable for carrier aggregation for the UE. For this set, a priority indication is assigned to each one of the at least one uplink component carrier included in the set. Then, if this set includes at least one uplink component carrier comprising an uplink shared channel, one of these at least one uplink component carrier comprising an uplink shared channel is selected for transmission of uplink control information in that uplink shared channel. Selection based on at least one of the at least one assigned priority indication, when selecting uplink component carrier, is disclosed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for encoding a number of feedback information messages in a mobile radio communications system using carrier aggregation, the method comprising: encoding the number of feedback information messages by a set of codewords, where each feedback information message can be of at least a first kind or a second kind. The method is distinguished by that for at least one feedback information message there is at least one codeword corresponding to information of the first kind and at least one codeword corresponding to information of the second kind, wherein the modulation symbol of one of said at least one codeword corresponding to information of the first kind and the modulation symbol of one of said at least one codeword corresponding to information of the second kind have a maximum distance. The invention also relates to a mobile terminal and radio basestation for a communications system.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a client device (100) and a network access node (300) for transmitting and receiving a random access preamble. The modulation sequence for the random access preamble is based on a first sequence and a second sequence. The first sequence is a sequence from a set of near-orthogonal sequences and the second sequence is a sequence from a set of constant envelope sequences. Due to its construction, the random access preamble herein provides low PAPR and suppresses the side-lobes in its auto-correlation function while producing a set of preambles with low cross-correlation. Furthermore, the invention also relates to corresponding methods and a computer program.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a network node and a user device. The network node is configured to determine a resource indicator comprising a single resource allocation value that specifies a first start index and a first number of frequency resources. The first start index and the first number of frequency resources are used for allocating a first set of contiguous frequency resources within a first sub-band, and a corresponding first set of contiguous frequency resources within a second sub-band. The first sub-band and the second sub-band are non-overlapping and comprise equal number of frequency resources. The network node includes a transceiver configured to transmit a transmission grant comprising the resource indicator to the user device.
