摘要： According to the present invention, a digital camera capable of displaying a list of a plurality of images has a selection assist function for assisting an operator in selecting a desirable image from the images listed. As an example of the selection assist function, the digital camera can analyze plural images captured under different shooting conditions to display an image that seems optimum (or images that seem improper) in a way different from the other images. As another example of the selection assist function, the digital camera can have a function for displaying images while scaling up them around an area that can be an image selection point (e.g., focusing point or a point selected by the operator).

摘要： The present invention holds the source document feeding direction downstream edge of a printed sheet ejected above a source document feed tray by means of a top ejection platform functioning as a printed sheet holding section in an area apart from source document feed rollers functioning as a source document feeding section. As a result, a printed sheet ejected onto top ejection platform is not fed automatically by source document feed rollers. Therefore, a printed sheet that has undergone image formation can be ejected without obstruction above source document feed tray of an automatic document feeder, checking and removal of a printed sheet are facilitated, and convenience is improved.

摘要： In a camera according to the present invention, an edge portion of a lens barrel unit is projected and arranged from a front cover. The lens barrel unit is covered with a front cover cylindrical member connected to the front cover, and a front exposed portion of the front cover cylindrical member is covered with an exterior cylindrical member as a detachable (before-attaching) metal cylindrical member. The exterior cylindrical member is positioned and is fixed by an stop claw on the front-cover side. A C-shaped stop portion cover having flexibility is made flexible and is attached around the stop claw portion, and is fixed by a screw. The restriction on design is reduced on the appearance for covering the lens barrel unit of the camera, and a camera exterior portion can be made of metal.

摘要： A strobe apparatus includes a xenon tube, which is a discharge tube, having a discharge light emitting portion and a light emitting portion terminal. Light is emitted from the xenon tube and is reflected in a predetermined direction by a reflection umbrella. A transparent electrode is coated on the external surface of the xenon tube from the discharge light emitting portion to the terminal. When trigger voltage is applied to the xenon tube through the transparent electrode, strobe light is emitted by the discharge light emitting portion. By using the strobe apparatus, the orientation characteristic of the discharge tube can be improved without uneven light distribution and a shortage of a light amount.

摘要： An image heating device having a predetermined amount of heat generation with a small electric current. The device has a heat-generating roller having magnetism and conductivity, and an exciting coil opposed to the peripheral face of the heat-generating roller and adapted for allowing the heat-generating roller to generate heat with electromagnetic induction. The exciting coil is composed of a bundle of copper wires extended in the direction of the rotation axis of the heat generating roller. The wires are circumferentially wound along the circumferential direction of the heat-generating roller. The bundled wires are arranged in close contact with each other in the circumferential direction of the heat-generating roller so as to cover the upper half of the heat-generating roller.

The opening unit has a photographing opening through which a light beam from the lens barrel unit passes and to which a film withdrawn from a film cartridge in the cartridge case unit towards the spool shaft in the spool case unit, crosses. The opening unit further has film guide rails for determining a position of the film to the photographing opining.

Further, a differential reduction section is placed within a revolution area of a planetary gear of the clutch mechanism. The clutch mechanism is composed of first and second planetary clutch mechanisms, the first planetary clutch mechanism releasing the transfer of a driving force of the film loading motor within the winding drive system by the rotation of the motor in a first direction and the second planetary clutch mechanism releasing the transfer of a driving force of the motor within the rewinding drive system by the rotation of the motor in a second direction. Also provided in the camera is a reduction mechanism which performs differential reduction of a planetary gear of the first planetary clutch mechanism during revolution of the planetary gear.

摘要： A system for testing a power train assembly such as a transaxle of a vehicle has first and second gear units each having separate input members for receiving input torque from the power train assembly to be tested, a mounting member for supporting the power train assembly between the first and second gear units, a drive motor for supplying input torque to the power train assembly, and a dynamometer connected with the second gear unit. The drive motor is connected with the input member of the power train assembly by a driving shaft passing through the first gear unit. Preferably, the first and second gear units are connected by at least one interconnecting shaft extending under the power train assembly. With this arrangement, the test system is smaller in required space, smaller in inertia, capable of high speed testing, and readily applicable to different types of power train assemblies.

摘要： A combustion process for reducing nitrogen oxides in combustors is proposed wherein combustion takes place successively forming an incomplete combustion zone, a reducing combustion zone, and a complete combustion zone, respectively corresponding to primary burners, secondary burners and air ports or after-burners, successively arranged in the direction of gas stream in a furnace. According to the present invention, it is possible to reduce nitrogen oxides by improving a manner of combustion without providing any denitrating apparatuses for exhaust gas.
