摘要： A multidirectional input device includes ring-shaped resistance element layer 18, first conductive layer 22 and second conductive layer 23 shaping in arcs corresponding to resistance element layer 18, and knob 14 having ring-shaped protruded section 14D. Resistance element layer 18 has at least a pair of electrodes and is formed on flexible insulating substrate 16. Protruded section 14D brings resistance element layer 18 into contact with first conductive layer 22 or second conductive layer 23 when the knob is tilted. When a given voltage is applied to the electrodes and the knob is tilted, resistance element layer 18 comes in contact with first conductive layer 22 or second conductive layer 23, so that an output signal of a high resolution concerning a tilt angle can be obtained. The output signal is supplied to a microprocessor and calculated, then an angle or a direction is detected and recognized.

摘要： A receiving device is provided with a DLL circuit of a reduced scale. An inverse spreading processing to ensure the synchronism with a received signal and a processing to inversely spread original data in the received signal are performed by a time-sharing operation using one inverse spreading circuit and one integrator. During a period in which synchronous data for detecting a slot duration included in the received signal is received, the synchronous data is alternately inversely spread by an early code and a late code and sample-hold circuits alternately sample and hold the integrated output. Further, based on the difference (error signal) between sample-hold signals, the early code, the late code and a reference code outputted from a code sequence generator are synchronized with the received signal. Then, the inverse spreading circuit and an integrator inversely spread the original data in the received signal based on the synchronized reference code and a detection output is generated by integrating the inverse spreading output.

摘要： A push and rotation operating type electronic component that allows for rotary manipulation in a tangential direction of a peripheral surface of a cylindrical operating knob projecting from a control surface of an apparatus, and also for pushing manipulation in a direction toward a central axis of rotation of the knob. The electronic component provides for a reduction in overall dimensions of a main portion, thereby reducing a height size of an enclosure of the end-use apparatus, smooth movement to a depressing manipulation, and easy to assemble. It is provided with a rotary encoder comprising a cylindrical rotary body with stepped periphery having a cylindrical knob portion of large diameter at a center, and rotatably retained in a frame supported also rotatably on a substrate and flexible contact bars retained by the substrate and in resilient contacts with a movable contact provided on a peripheral surface of a cylindrical axle besides the knob portion, and a push switch of a self-restoring type disposed on the substrate and activated by a turning movement the frame.

摘要： A left-side ring magnet and a right-side ring magnet are fastened to a roller-shaped operation part, circumferentially displaced from each other by a certain angle. Magnetic variation generated by rotation of the magnets is detected by a magnetism detection element. Additionally, a left-side stationary magnet and a right-side stationary magnet, with the same magnetic pole, are annexed correspondingly to the left-side ring magnet and the right-side ring magnet, respectively, so that the stationary magnets are arranged with the same proximal arrangement relative to the ring magnets, respectively. With such a structure, two attractive and repulsive forces between the left-side ring magnet and the left-side stationary magnet; and between the right-side ring magnet and the right-side stationary magnet are totally exerted on the operation part, thereby providing a sharp, clear click touch during rotation.

摘要： A communication device performs a radio communication in an ultra wideband with the use of the impulse radio system. The communication device includes a receiver. The receiver is equipped with antennas, a correlation circuit, and a CPU. The antennas receive send signals from a transmitter. The correlation circuit detects a synchronization pulse having a longer cycle than a highly redundant data pulse among received signals. The CPU performs a synchronization process based on the synchronization pulse. The CPU establishes a channel based on the synchronization pulse, and selectively changes the antennas according to the received signal. In the case where the receive signal has not been received for a given period of time after the synchronization is established correlation signals is stopped outputting to start a polling signal. The correlation signals are output to obtain correlation of the receive signals.
