摘要： A reserve tank includes a tank body for storing coolant, an inflow portion for allowing the coolant to flow into the tank body, a guide portion, and an outflow portion for allowing the coolant to flow out of the tank body. The guide portion is disposed above the inflow portion and below a liquid level of the coolant in the tank body. Furthermore, the guide portion is adapted to guide a flow of the coolant flowing thereinto from the inflow portion and directed upward, substantially in a horizontal direction or downward with respect to the horizontal direction. Therefore, the reserve tank can restrict air from being trapped in coolant.

摘要： A memory cell array includes a plurality of non-volatile semiconductor memory elements, each memory element storing data in a non-volatile manner. A shift register stores data read from the semiconductor memory element and sequentially transfers the data outside, the shift register also stores data transferred from outside and stores the data in the semiconductor memory element. A syndrome generation circuit is connected to an output terminal of the shift register, the syndrome generation circuit generating syndrome of data output from the output terminal. An error-correction circuit uses the data and the syndrome to correct an error of the data.

摘要： An internet on-demand system for television presents internet content and traditional television programming as part of a single coherent interface. The user can select a channel from a rotary menu wheel. The system includes a server and a client capable of providing a dynamic graphical user interface. The system can display an internet gateway interface which actively scrolls through and highlights links to selected web pages which are organized according to templates corresponding to their content. The web pages are presented on the graphical user interface as channels as part of the same milieu as channels of traditional television programming. An intelligent agent passively filters selected web pages for a user to explore based on the user's past pattern of usage of the client. The server queries the client regarding its available data stream connections, including telephone modems, cable modems, and digital satellite broadcasting, in order to determine the most efficient delivery of different types of data through all of the available bandwidth connections. The efficient delivery of data allows the client to present text, graphics, video, audio and other multimedia information from a web page over the internet as a coordinated presentation.

摘要： The invention provides an electrical program guide system and method by which a desired program can be rapidly selected directly from among a large number of programs with certainty. A program selection screen as a multi-screen is formed from nine reduced screens reduced to one third in the horizontal and vertical directions from screens of programs broadcast on different broadcasting channels. A plurality of such program selection screens are transmitted to a reception side. On the reception side, the program selection screens are stored into a virtual frame memory so that reduced screens of them may make a single virtual screen. From among the reduced screens of the virtual frame, desired 3.times.3 reduced screens are read out and displayed on a multi-screen of full motion. A viewer finds and directly selects a desired program from within the 3.times.3 reduced screens of full motion displayed as the multi-screen. The array of the reduced screens can be automatically changed, based on program enjoyment histories, so that a reduced screen of a program enjoyed frequently by the viewer is disposed at a position which facilitates selection by the viewer such as the upper left position of the screen. The array may be customized such that it is changed to an arbitrary array based on a desire of the viewer.
