Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of assembling a medicament delivery device. The method includes providing a housing of the medicament delivery device, wherein the housing extends along a longitudinal axis between a proximal end and a distal end. Abstract: The present invention relates to a breast contacting element for a breast pump assembly and a method of forming the same. Abstract: Blood pumps discussed herein may be suitable for use as a ventricular assist device (VAD) or the like. The blood pumps cause minimal blood damage, are energy efficient, and can be powered by implanted batteries for extended periods of time. Further, these pumps are also beneficial because they may improve the quality of life of a patient with a VAD by reducing restrictions on the patient's lifestyle. The blood pumps can provide radial and axial stability to a rotating impeller that is driven by a separate rotor. Both radial and axial stability can be provided, at least in part, by one or more permanent magnetic couplings between the rotor and the impeller and/or one or more permanent magnetic bearings between the pump housing and the impeller.

Abstract: The invention relates to a drug delivery device (1000) comprising a housing (100) configured to receive a medicament container (8) with a stopper (82) proximally sealing the medicament container. Furthermore, the drug delivery device comprises a plunger rod (1) arranged axially movable with respect to the housing and/or the medicament container and a feedback mechanism operatively coupled to the plunger rod. The drug delivery device has an initial state in which the plunger rod is in a start position. The drug delivery device is configured such that, in the initial state and when the medicament container is received in the housing, the plunger rod is axially spaced from the stopper. Furthermore, the drug delivery device is configured such that the plunger rod is axially movable from its start position in a distal direction into a feedback position. The movement of the plunger rod in the distal direction enables the plunger rod to interact with the stopper in order to push the stopper in the distal direction such that a medicament stored in the medicament container is delivered. The feedback mechanism is triggered when the plunger rod reaches the feedback position. Triggering of the feedback mechanism creates an audible and/or tactile feedback in order to indicate an end of the medicament delivery. The invention also relates to a plunger rod, a set of plunger rods, a set of drug delivery devices and a method for assembling a drug delivery device.

Abstract: A cassette for a drug delivery device may comprise a cassette base portion including a reservoir recess surrounded by an attachment surface. The attachment surface may include a reservoir outlet flow path recessed therein. The cassette may further comprise a reservoir film coupled to the attachment surface which, together with the reservoir recess, defines a flexible reservoir. A portion of the reservoir film may have a preformed shape which mimics the contour of the reservoir recess. The preform shape may cause the reservoir film to be disposed adjacent the surface of reservoir recess when the reservoir is in an empty state. The cassette may further comprise at least one duct recessed into the surface of the reservoir recess. Each of the at least one duct may define a flow path which remains in fluid communication with the reservoir outlet flow path when the reservoir is in an empty state.
