    摘要: A magnetostrictive torque sensor comprising a first magnetostrictive film, a second magnetostrictive film, and a third magnetostrictive film formed over the entire circumferential periphery of a surface of a rotating shaft. A first sensor coil, a second sensor coil, and a third sensor coil for sensing changes in impedance are provided for the first, second, and third magnetostrictive films, respectively. Signals according to the changes in impedance outputted from the first through third sensor coils are inputted to a torque calculating unit. The torque calculating unit calculates the torque applied to the rotating shaft on the basis of the output signal from the first sensor coil and the output signal from the second sensor coil. Furthermore, the output signals from the first through third sensor coils are compared, and failures in the first magnetostrictive film or the second magnetostrictive film are detected by a failure detector.

    摘要: The medical apparatus of this invention includes a therapeutic section at least having a blade for treating a living tissue thermally, a heat insulating part for insulating heat conduction from the blade to the main body of the medical apparatus. The therapeutic section and the heat insulating part are preferably provided on a grasping section (for example, a pair of jaws) for grasping the living tissue. It is preferable that the therapeutic section has a shape such that the living tissue and the side surface of the therapeutic section do not contact with each other.     摘要: Disclosed is a novel electric joining method and apparatus that can overcome the defects associated with the prior art while taking advantage of the technology for the pulse excited sintering process such as spark plasma sintering process or the hot-press joining process. According to the present invention, an electric joining apparatus for joining a plurality of members to be joined at the joining surfaces thereof, comprises: a pair of current-currying electrodes 13, 16 capable of contacting with the members so as to apply electricity to the members; a power supply 17 connected to the pair of energizing electrodes for supplying the energizing electrodes with at least either one of a DC current or a pulsated current; and a pressurizing unit 14 for compressing each of the pair of electrodes against the joining surfaces, wherein the pair of members are sandwiched between the energizing electrodes and applied with at least either one of the DC current or the pulsated current from the power supply under a desired pressure, thus to be joined, without using a die made of graphite.

    摘要: A resectoscope comprises a plurality of sheaths having different inner diameters, a plurality of optical observation tubes having different view field directions and insertible into the corresponding sheaths, and a plurality of electrode rods which are provided with electrode sections bent at different angles for different view field directions and having different sizes and which are insertible into the corresponding sheaths. A resectoscope is assembled from one selected sheath, one selected optical observation tube and one selected electrode rod. In order to facilitate the correct assembly of these various parts, the electrode rods have a first color mark capable of distinguishing the different angles of the electrode sections and a second color mark capable of distinguishing the different sizes of the electrode sections. The respective sheaths have a third color mark capable of distinguishing their different inner diameters. The optical observation tubes have a fourth color mark capable of distinguishing their different view field directions [, and the].
