摘要: A method for debriding an infected implant area using a robotic-assisted surgery system. The method includes determining, by a processing circuit associated with a computer, an area to be debrided, the debridement area including at least a surface of an implant or patient tissue, and generating, by the processing circuit, a plan for debriding the debridement area. The method further includes controlling a debridement tool, by the robotic-assisted surgery system, while the debridement tool is used to carry out the debridement plan, and monitoring the debridement by the processing circuit.

摘要: A method of improving an operational parameter of a surgical system using data analytics is disclosed. The method includes transmitting, from each of a plurality of surgical hubs of the surgical system, operational data of a plurality of surgical instruments communicatively coupled to the plurality of surgical hubs, to a cloud computing system of the surgical system; aggregating, by the cloud computing system, the operational data into aggregate medical resource data; analyzing, by the cloud computing system, the aggregate medical resource data to determine a recommendation to change the operational parameter based on the analyzed aggregate medical resource data, wherein the aggregate medical resource data comprises one or more of usage data, patient derived parameter data, surgical performance data, and surgical outcome data; receiving, by the plurality of surgical hubs, the recommendation from the cloud computing system; and displaying, by the plurality of surgical hubs, the recommendation.

摘要: Various systems and methods providing recommendations based on analysis of surgical procedure variables are disclosed. A computer system, such as a surgical hub, can be configured to be communicably coupled to a surgical device. The computer system can be programmed to determine contextual data related to the surgical procedure being performed based at least in part of perioperative data received from the surgical device paired with the computer system. Further, the computer system can determine a procedural variable associated with the determined surgical context and then compare the procedural variable to a baseline. Depending upon the outcome of the comparison, the computer system can provide intraoperative or postoperative recommendations to the surgical staff.
