Abstract: This application provides a communication method in which a network device indicates in advance that a first beam is available for beam switching, and a terminal device reports a first measurement report corresponding to the first beam. The terminal device can determine, without waiting for a beam management instruction delivered by the network device, whether the first beam can be used for beam switching, so that a delay in a beam management process can be reduced, thereby improving communication quality. In this method, a terminal device receives first indication information from a network device, where the first indication information indicates that a first beam associated with at least one reference signal (RS) corresponding to a first reporting configuration is for beam switching.

Abstract: A fingerprint unlocking method and a terminal are provided. The method may be applied to a terminal having an in-screen fingerprint detection function. When the terminal is in a screen-locked state, the terminal determines whether an operation of a user meets a preset condition. If the operation of the user meets the preset condition, a fingerprint recognition identifier is displayed on a touch display screen of the terminal. A display area of the fingerprint recognition identifier is an area in which fingerprint recognition can be performed. The method resolves a problem that the user cannot perform fingerprint unlocking because the user cannot see a position of a fingerprint detector.

Abstract: This application provides a wireless communication method. The method includes: receiving first information, where the first information is for configuring a parameter of a first beam set, the first beam set includes at least one first beam, and the first beam is a beam shared by a plurality of channels and/or a plurality of reference signals; receiving second information, and determining information about a first beam subset based on the second information, where the first beam subset belongs to the first beam set; and receiving third information, and determining information about the first beam based on the third information, where the first beam belongs to the first beam subset, and the first beam is a common beam. In this application, beams of all channels/reference signals can be uniformly indicated by configuring, activating, and indicating a common beam. This simplifies implementation and reduces signaling overheads.

Abstract: This application provides example signal transmission methods and communications apparatuses.
