Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are described herein for sidelink (SL) collision detection and indication (e.g., in new radio (NR) vehicular communications (V2X)). A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may send resource reservations (e.g., in sidelink control information (SCI)). A receiving (RX) WTRU may receive SCI from (e.g., multiple) transmitting (TX) WTRUs, where the TX WTRUs are reserving resources for transmission. The TX WTRUs may be unaware of the other TX WTRUs (e.g., unaware of the resources being reserved by other TX WTRUs). Resources may be in conflict, for example, if the reserved resources overlap (e.g., partially or completely). Collision may occur, for example, if multiple TX WTRUs reserve the resources in conflict for transmission and/or if the TX WTRUs reserving the resources in conflict for transmission do not reselect a non-conflicting resource.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for selecting a resource for transmission may be performed by a WTRU. The method may comprise determining a priority of a data packet and determining a CBR of a resource pool. The WTRU may set a backoff counter to an initial backoff value, in accordance with at least one of the priority of the packet or the CBR. A CCA may be performed in a plurality of resource slots to determine whether the resource slots are available. The backoff counter may be decreased by the number of available resources in each slot. When the backoff counter reaches a threshold value, which may be set at 0, the resource for transmission may be randomly selected. The WTRU may then transmit data to another WTRU on the randomly selected resource.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed herein for paging acquisition in multipath WTRU to network relays. A first WTRU may receive configuration information indicating information associated with a first monitoring pattern to use if a first condition is satisfied and information associated with a second monitoring pattern to use if a second condition is satisfied. The first condition and the second condition may be associated with a link quality associated with a second WTRU. The first WTRU may receive a first indication from the second WTRU. The first WTRU may determine that the first condition is satisfied. The first WTRU may send an indication of the first monitoring pattern. The first WTRU may monitor a first paging occasion in accordance with the first monitoring pattern. The first WTRU may receive a first paging message for the second WTRU in the first paging occasion. The first WTRU may send an indication of the received first paging message to the second WTRU.
