Abstract:
A technique is provided to leverage the border cell paging capability to eliminate paging waste during LTE-to-1xRTT cross-RAT paging for CSFB call delivery. A method comprises receiving a call for the user equipment at the first switching element, sending a page request to the user equipment by the first switching element via the LTE elements, sending a page invoke message by the first switching element to a plurality of switching elements on a border between the first area and the second area, the page invoke message having an indicator field indicating a status of listen only, receiving a page response from the user equipment at the second switching element, recognizing the page response by the second switching element based on the page invoke message, and, completing the call to the user equipment. This technique reduces or eliminates border cell paging waste during LTE-to-1xRTT cross-RAT paging for CSFB call delivery and also helps maximize CSFB call delivery success rates and minimize call delivery setup time.
Abstract:
A method and system for analyzing an object is provided in the present invention. The system comprises: a background arranged behind an object, wherein the color of the background is allowed to be selected from a set of colors; a first unit for setting a given color for the background so that the given color is different from the color of the object; a second unit for taking a picture including the object and the background; and a third unit for detecting at least one feature relating to the object according to the picture taken by said second unit. In the system, the color of the background is allowed to be set so as to be different from the color of the object. In this way, it is easy to distinguish the object part from the background part in the taken picture. This results in stable recognition for different objects, especially objects of different colors.

In a particular embodiment a VDSL repeater is disclosed. The VDSL repeater includes a first interface for receiving data from an IPTV network node; a second interface for sending data to an end user client device; and an amplifier in electrical communication with the first interface for amplifying data received on the first interface from the IPTV network node when a power supply voltage is present on the first interface, wherein the amplifier sends the amplified data received on the first interface to the second interface. In another aspect of a particular embodiment the VDSL repeater further includes a circuit that bypasses the amplifier when the power supply voltage is not present on the first interface. In another particular embodiment a method for amplifying a VDSL signal when a power supply voltage is present on the twisted pair using the power supply voltage is disclosed.

A method for image separating, said method being applied to an electronic apparatus to separate a foreground and a background of an image displayed on said apparatus, comprising the steps of scanning pixels in said image, applying arithmetic algorithm on said pixels and forming a plurality of segments on said image by defining pixels adjacent to each other and similar in color as one segment; examining foreground label and background label marked by an user; merging segments labeled by said foreground label into a foreground region and segments labeled by said background label into a background region, and applying arithmetic algorithm on an unlabeled segment to merge with an adjacent segment, foreground region or background region having the least difference in color; repeating said merging step until all segments are merged into a foreground region or a background region, thereby separating said image into a foreground region and a background region.

A method and apparatus for performing anchor carrier reselection measurements and ranking in Long Term Evolution-Advanced are disclosed. The measurements are first determined by whether a non-serving anchor carrier has a higher reselection priority than a serving anchor carrier. Other non-serving anchor carrier measurements are started by checking the serving anchor measured results against non-serving anchor carrier measurement thresholds, including the parameter S-IntraCellSearch for measuring and ranking the intra-cell anchor carriers ahead of other non-serving anchor carriers.

The present invention provides a method and apparatus for enabling an application to cooperate with the running of a program. According to the invention, the playing control information of a program and the linking information of an application corresponding to the program are edited into a program playing control file. Through executing said playing control file, guided by the linking information and based on the running control information of the application, the application can download, run or stop to run cooperating with the playing of the optical disc program. The Solution of combining an application and a program into a playing control file will effectively cause the downloading and running of the application to cooperate with the playing of the program so as to ensure normal realization of corresponding functions.
