    摘要: The present invention relates to a method, apparatus and computer program product for allocating resource units to a plurality of users in a multiplex transmission system. A transmission quality of available resource units to be allocated is determined for each user, and the resource unit with the highest transmission quality is allocated to the respective strongest user for which the highest transmission quality has been determined. An allocation range of the strongest user is expanded by allocating adjacent resource units to the strongest user as long as the determined transmission quality of the adjacent resource units is still the highest. Resource units with highest transmission quality among the remaining resource units are allocated to the respective remaining users and their allocation ranges are expanded as long as transmission quality of the adjacent resource units is still the highest among the remaining resource units.

    摘要: An allocation of M network allocations (e.g., physical resource blocks) among N users is by a signaling word having a maximum number of bits given by ceil(M*log 2(N+1)). The signaling word is sent to users, who determine the resources allocated to them from the signaling word. In an embodiment, the signaling word is a series of binary index numbers, each index number assigned to one user, and the network allocations are stored in a known order in a list. The position of the index number in the signaling word, in view of the list, gives the network allocation to that user index number. For example, a user assigned the index number at the kth position in the signaling word is allocated the network allocation at a corresponding kth position of the stored list. This uses fewer signaling bits than the known prior art disclosed herein.

The channel quality indicator module is configurable to determine at least one characteristic of a channel received through the transceiver and to prepare a channel quality indicator report comprised of a plurality of channel quality indicator fragments. The channel quality indicator module is further configurable to transmit a first channel quality indicator fragment to a wireless network through the transceiver, where the first channel quality indicator fragment comprises information sufficient for use by a network node to make a resource scheduling decision, and to selectively transmit or not transmit at least one further channel quality indicator fragment based on the determined at least one characteristic of the channel, such as a presence or absence of fading. Corresponding method and computer programs are also disclosed, as is a base station operable with a user equipment having the channel quality indicator module.

At least two different levels of measurements reports (15) are provided, wherein each of the at least two levels corresponds to a different amount of resource blocks on which the measurement reports are based.     摘要: A method, terminal device, network element, and computer program product for signalling a scheduling information used for indicating resource allocation states of a plurality of available resource blocks to a plurality of scheduled devices are disclosed, wherein a resource allocation state is set for each of the available resource blocks and multiplied by the number of possible allocation states to the power of a sequential number of the resource block. Then, the multiplication results of all available resource blocks are summed and the summing result is transmitted to the plurality of scheduled devices. Thereby, the required amount of signalling bits can be reduced considerably, while still maintaining the same signalling content.
