    摘要: A pointing device including a base section, an operating section shiftably supported on the base section, a magnet carried on one of the base section and the operating section, and a magneto-electro transducer carried on the other of the base section and the operating section at a location close to the magnet. The operating section includes a first part securely holding one of the magnet and the magneto-electro transducer and supported on the base section shiftably in a desired horizontal direction relative to the base section, and a second part connected to the first part and elastically biasing the first part toward a home position in a horizontal shifting range during a period when the first part is horizontally shifted along the base section. The second part of the operating section is provided integrally with a major portion substantially surrounding an entire circumference of the first part, a first connecting portion connected to the first part at one end of the major portion and a second connecting portion connected to the base section at another end of the major portion; the major portion exerting an even elastic biasing force irrespective of a shifting direction of the first part on the base section.

    摘要: An infrared transmitter circuit causes an output current to flow to a light emission diode via a current mirror circuit constituted of three transistors by using a current supplied from a power source circuit, so that the light emission diode emits light. When a voltage V1 varied by charging a capacitor with a current flowing from the power source circuit exceeds a reference voltage (voltage V2), an output of a comparator resets a D flip-flop, so that an output of the D flip-flop varies to “0”. Thus, an output of a NAND gate to which that output and a transmission signal are inputted causes a transistor (N-channel FET) to turn ON so as to stop operation of the current mirror circuit, and causes a transistor (P-channel FET) to turn OFF so as to cut a connection between the power source circuit and a power source line. Thus, it is possible to reduce power consumption in operation of a protection circuit which stops supplying the output current to the light emission diode.

    摘要: A key switch used for a keyboard incorporated as an input device in electronic equipment. The key switch includes a support plate; a key top arranged above the support plate; a pair of link members interlocked to each other to support the key top above the support plate and direct the key top in a vertical direction; and a switch mechanism capable of opening and closing a contact section of an electric circuit in accordance with a vertical movement of the key top. The switch mechanism includes a membrane switch sheet carrying the contact section at a position corresponding to the key top and placed on the support plate. Each of the link members includes a sliding part slidably engaged with the support plate. The membrane switch sheet is provided with a through-hole in a region where the sliding part of each link member is engaged with the support plate, the sliding part of the link member being slidably placed on the support plate through the through-hole in the membrane switch sheet.
