    Abstract: A cross-connect switch architecture is described. A cross-connect switch device includes a cross-point switch array, a plurality of photo detectors and a plurality of amplifiers. The cross-point switch array includes a plurality of switches. Each switch is coupled between a respective photo detector and a respective amplifier and is configured to couple the respective photo detector to the respective amplifier when the switch is selected.

    Abstract: An apparatus includes a photodetector configured to generate an electrical current based on received illumination. The apparatus also includes a capacitor transimpedance amplifier (CTIA) unit cell having (i) an amplifier configured to receive the electrical current and a first reference voltage and generate a pre-integration voltage, (ii) a feedback capacitor coupled in parallel across the amplifier, (iii) a reset switch coupled in parallel across the feedback capacitor, and (iv) a coupling capacitor coupled to an output of the amplifier and configured to receive the pre-integration voltage and generate an integration voltage. The apparatus further includes a comparator configured to compare the pre-integration voltage and a second reference voltage, where generation of the integration voltage is modifiable based on the comparison.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a trans-impedance amplifier and a trans-impedance amplifier control method that are used in the field of circuit technologies. A trans-impedance amplifier TIA includes an inverting amplification circuit and a voltage clamping circuit. The inverting amplification circuit is connected in parallel to the voltage clamping circuit. The inverting amplification circuit includes a first PMOS transistor and a first NMOS transistor that have a common gate. A source of the first PMOS transistor is connected to a drain of the first NMOS transistor. The voltage clamping circuit includes a second PMOS transistor and a second NMOS transistor that have a common gate. Gates of the two transistors are connected to an input end of the TIA. A source of the second NMOS transistor and a drain of the second PMOS transistor are connected to an output end of the TIA.

    Abstract: An amplifier circuit includes: an operational amplifier that includes two input terminals and an output terminal; a voltage-dividing resistor circuit electrically connected to the output terminal and that includes a voltage-dividing terminal that outputs a potential obtained by voltage-dividing a potential of the output terminal and a feedback resistor circuit electrically connected to the voltage-dividing terminal and one of the two input terminals. The voltage-dividing resistor circuit includes a plurality of resistors that each include terminals and a switch. The plurality of resistors includes a first resistor and a second resistor. The first resistor includes a terminal that corresponds to the voltage-dividing terminal. The switch switches, from a first terminal of the first resistor to a second terminal of the second resistor, the terminal that corresponds to the voltage-dividing terminal.
