摘要: A different resource is allocated to each of a terminal and a relay station as a resource for the communication with a base station. A radio base station device (1) provided in the base station includes: a determination unit (7) which determines whether or not relaying of a random access preamble is performed based on the resource information included in the random access preamble; and a response generating unit (10) which generates a random access response to which relay flag information is attached. When the random access response with the relay flag information attached is transmitted from the base station to the terminal, the control of the transmission power of an RRC connection request is performed at the terminal based on the relay flag information. This allows for the suppression of increase in the delay before the establishment of RRC connection, and thereby a radio base station device which improves the utilization effect of resources is provided.

摘要: A radio base station device comprises: a preamble signal receiving unit (15) that receives a RACH preamble signal transmitted from a radio terminal device; a reception notice receiving unit (16) that receives, from a radio relay station device, a reception notice indicating that the radio relay station device has received the RACH preamble signal; and a response signal transmitting unit (18) which, when an identifier (RA-ID) of the RACH preamble signal transmitted from the radio terminal device matches an identifier comprised in the preamble reception notice transmitted from the radio relay station device, permits the use of an identifier by the radio relay station device and transmits, to the radio terminal device, a RACH response signal (RACH Response) comprising a cell identifier (Cell ID) of a cell managed by the radio relay station device permitted to use the identifier. Accordingly, the latency when establishing a connection can be reduced.

摘要: A communication apparatus wherein the function arrangement of each device is revised, thereby preventing an increase in traffic of a public network and further suppressing an increase in communication cost of the public network. In this apparatus, a control part (101), when notified of a duplication of MBMS data by RNC-c, controls a PDCP part (102), an RLC part (103) and a MAC-d part (104) so as to perform an MBMS data duplication process. The control part (101), when notified of an establishment of a communication line with a node (B), controls the PDCP part (102), RLC part (103) and MAC-d part (104) so as to establish the communication line with the node (B). The RLC part (103) duplicates, based on the control by the control part (101), the MBMS data received from the PDCP part (102). The MAC-d part (104) transmits the MBMS data as MAC processed to the node (B) via a local network between an RNC-u (100) and the node (B).

摘要: A radio communication terminal, a radio communication base station device, and radio communication method enabling lightening the paging load in a mobile communication system including macro cells and femto cells. A reception level measuring section (144) of a UE (104) measures the reception level of a femto cell. If a judging section (146) judges that the measured reception level is over a level which is the sum of a threshold and an offset value, the judging section (146) requests an MME (101) to change a multi TA registration to a single TA registration and carries out a change to one tracking area registration.

摘要: A communication terminal apparatus wherein a network-led handover and a communication terminal apparatus-led handover are simultaneously performed, whereby even if the link between the communication terminal apparatus and the handover source is cut off before a completion of the handover, the handover can be performed at a high speed because of the communication terminal apparatus-led handover. In this apparatus, a reception power measuring part (103) measures the reception power of each of peripheral cells that are candidates of handover destinations. A measurement information generating part (104) generates reception quality information. A selection deciding part (105) decides to select a cell when the reception power is equal to or less than a threshold value.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for distributing control signaling for session control of a multicast or broadcast service within a mobile communication network. Furthermore the invention also provides a base station, mobile terminal and communication system to perform the proposed method. In order to reduce the number of signaling connections for the service, the invention proposes to avoid the initial distribution of session control signaling in the entire mobile communications network or service area. Rather than providing service related control signaling connections upon session start, the control signaling connections are set up in response to service requests of the mobile terminals requesting the service. According to one further aspect, the mobile terminals send the service requests based on service announcements available at the mobile terminals, i.e. in contrast to conventional implementations, the mobile terminals do not await a notification of the access network on the availability of the service within the cell.

摘要: It is possible to provide a core network device, a radio communication base station device, and a radio communication method which can improve the radio resource use efficiency of the entire network without increasing UE battery consumption. According to the devices and the method, a user quantity counting unit (163) of UPE (160) counts the number of UE which have performed a position registration in each position registration area containing a plurality of cells. A user quantity comparing unit (164) selects MCT if the counted UE quantity is not smaller than a predetermined threshold value and SCT if the counted UE quantity is smaller than the predetermined threshold value, thereby appropriately performing switching between SCT and MCT in accordance with the UE quantity. Only when the SCT is selected by the UPE (160), eNB counts the number of users in the cell managed by the local device.

摘要: Disclosed are a core network device, a radio communication base station device, and a radio communication method which continuously provides a multicast service to a terminal connected to eNB in an overlap PA. An M-UPE (160) which distributes MBMS data to the overlap PA stores an identifier of other M-UPE (170) connected to the overlap PA. When no participating user under the M-UPE (160) is detected upon update of the number of UPE users, the M-UPE (160) continues the multicast service to the M-UPE (170) according to the stored identifier.

摘要: A communication apparatus controls the timing of switching data paths in an upper-layer apparatus so as to inhibit the data from being transferred from the network host of a handover source to the network host of a handover destination, thereby effectively utilizing the resource of the network host of the handover source, while eliminating the processing load accompanying the data transfer. In this apparatus, a handover deciding part (104) selects, based on the information of the reception qualities of a plurality of network hosts, the network host of a handover destination. A switching request part (105) makes a request of a path switching to IPAG. A handover instructing part (108) instructs a communication terminal apparatus to handover to the network host of the handover destination.
