    摘要: A terminal crimping apparatus includes an anvil for supporting a metal terminal including a base plate portion for placing an electric wire thereon and a pair of crimping piece portions extending upwardly respectively from opposite side edges of the base plate portion and a crimper which includes a press-deforming portion having a generally arch-shape formed of two arc-shaped surfaces which are opposed to the anvil. The anvil and the crimper cooperate to press the crimping piece portions for crimping the crimping piece portions to the electric wire placed on the metal terminal. The shape of the crimper satisfies a formula, Index a=c·cos θ, where c represents a length of the arc-shaped surface of the crimper, and θ represents an angle formed by a tangential line to the arc-shaped surface at a central portion of the crimper and a vertical line.

    摘要: An ink-jet printing apparatus comprises a plurality of nozzles that eject ink, the nozzles being grouped into two or more nozzle groups; pressure chambers, each being provided to one of the nozzles; ink-ejection energy generators, each being provided for one of the pressure chambers; and a vibration controller configured to supply a non-ejecting vibration signal to the ink-ejection energy generators of each nozzle group at a different timing. The non-ejecting vibration signal causes the corresponding ink-ejection energy generator to produce energy so as not to cause the ink to eject from the nozzle, but cause the liquid surface of the ink to slightly vibrate in the associated nozzle.

Using the color recording liquid, it becomes possible to obtain high quality black recording without causing blurring of color, along with high quality color recording having no bleeding of color in a borderline between two adjacent color recording areas of different hues.

    摘要: A method for producing a chemically colored stainless steel stock widely used as building material or the like is characterized in that a stainless steel stock is subjected to alternating current electrolysis or dipped and then subjected to an electrolytic treatment in a coloring electrolyte solution containing ions comprising a metal having a plurality of valence numbers, thereby producing colored stainless steel stocks having a variety of colors in a uniform color tone by a single solution/single step process. The continuous production apparatus of the invention can continuously manufacture colored stainless steel stocks with a variety of colors by a single solution/single step process in a commercial scale without any troublesome operation while affording the ease of control of color tone.

An inner surface of the groove portion of the anvil and a terminal support face of the supporting portion of the crimper cooperate to press the crimping piece portions for crimping the crimping piece portions to the electric wire mounted on the metal terminal. A width of the groove portion of the crimper is not more than 1.0 mm. The terminal support surface of the anvil is formed into a concavely curved surface in which a depth of the concavely curved surface is not smaller than 0.06 mm and is not larger than 0.17 mm in a cross-section of the anvil perpendicular to an axis direction of the electric wire.

    摘要: There is disclosed a terminal crimping apparatus which comprises a crimping machine (29) for connecting a cable connection portion (2a) of crimp terminals (2) to a cable end by crimping the cable connection portion (2a), a terminal frame supply mechanism (30) for intermittently supplying the crimp terminals (2) in the form of a terminal frame (4) to the crimping machine (29), and a terminal attitude correcting unit (36) for the crimp terminals provided on the way of a supply path of the terminal frame to the crimping machine (29). The terminal frame supply mechanism (30) includes a terminal guide jig (35) having guide grooves (34) for guiding carriers (1) of the terminal frame (4), and the terminal attitude correcting unit (36) is provided on the way of the guide path of the terminal frame (4) by means of the terminal guide jig (35). The terminal attitude correcting unit (36) includes an attitude correcting jig (38) having a groove (37) releasably receiving the cable connection portion (2a) of the crimp terminals (2). The attitude correcting jig (38) is extended and retracted by an air cylinder (39) between an attitude correction position in the supply path in which the cable connection portion (2a) is fitted in the groove (37) and the attitude of the cable connection portion (2a) is corrected to a predetermined direction and a retracted position deviated from the supply path. The terminal crimping apparatus is therefore prevented from crimp-connecting defects of the crimp terminals (2).

    摘要: An electrical cable stripping device is disclosed for stripping an end outside coating of an electrical cable to form an exposed conductor part having a resistance wire wrapped around a flexible core. The device includes clamping member for clamping an intermediate portion of the electrical cable, a stripping knife operatively provided to insert knife edges halfway to the electrical cable at a position between the clamped point and the end of the electrical cable to cut the end outside coating, a moving device for moving the stripping knife, while maintaining the sme at the closed position, away from said clamping member to strip the end outside coating and to expose the conductor part. At least the resistance wire is extended between the end outside coating and the exposed conductor part. Further provided is a wire cuter for cutting the exposed conductor part.
