    摘要: A variable capacity piston-operated refrigerant compressor having a cylinder block provided with cylinder bores in which single-headed pistons are reciprocated to compress a refrigerant gas, and a housing assembly arranged on opposite ends of the cylinder block to define a crank chamber for receiving a cam plate mounted around a rotatably supported drive shaft to cause the reciprocating motion of the pistons in response to the rotation thereof together with the drive shaft, the cam plate further controlling the stroke of the reciprocation of the pistons by the use of a differential pressure between a suction pressure acting on working ends of the respective pistons via a suction chamber and a pressure in the crank chamber communicating with a discharge chamber via a gas supply passage for supplying the discharge pressure refrigerant gas containing therein a lubricating oil which is separated from the refrigerant gas by the oil separating means arranged in the gas supply passage immediately before the refrigerant gas enters the crank chamber. The separated lubricating oil is stored in the crank chamber to lubricate all movable elements in the crank chamber.

    摘要: A control valve in a compressor that adjusts the discharge displacement based on controlling of an inclination of a cam plate. The compressor includes a supply passage for connecting a discharge chamber with a crank chamber. The control valve is placed midway on the supply passage. The control valve has a valve body. The valve body moves in a first direction to open the supply passage and moves in the second direction to close the supply passage. A reacting member reacts to suction pressure. A first transmitting member is placed between the reacting member and the valve body. A solenoid is opposed to the reacting member with respect to the valve body. The solenoid urges the valve body in the second direction via a second transmitting member when the solenoid is excited. An urging device urges the valve body in the first direction, The first transmitting member connects the reacting member with the valve body to move the valve body toward or away from the reacting member. The urging device causes the valve body to fully open the supply passage when the solenoid is de-exited.

    摘要: A scroll type compressor comprises an immovable scroll defining a spiral space, and a refrigerant is introduced into an outerhost zone of the spiral space. The compressor further comprises a movable scroll engaged with the immovable scroll such that the outermost zone of the spiral space is divided into an inner section and an outer section by an outermost portion of the movable scroll. The movable scroll is revolved around a center axis of the immovable scroll such that the inner and outer sections are alternatively displaced as a compression chamber toward a center of the immovable scroll, and a refrigerant inlet port of the inner section is defined by a termination of the outermost portion of the movable scroll. The termination is disengaged from and engaged with the immovable scroll during the revolution of the movable scroll to close and open the inlet port of the inner section. The immovable scroll has a communication passage formed in a base portion thereof, and the inner and outer section is in communication with each other through the communication passage only when the termination is disengaged from the immovable scroll so that the inlet port of the inner section is opened, whereby the refrigerant can be fed to the inner section not only through the inlet port thereof, but also through the communication passage until the termination is engaged with the immovable scroll so that the inlet port of the inner section is closed.

    摘要: In a scroll type compressor, a movable scroll is engaged with an immovable scroll so that spaces are formed for taking in a fluid to be compressed. The movable scroll is revolved around a central axis of the immovable scroll, so that the spaces are displaced toward the centers of the walls while a volume thereof is reduced to compress the fluid therein. The revolution of the movable scroll is converted from a rotation of a drive shaft through an eccentric mechanism provided therebetween. The shaft is rotatably supported by first and second angular bearings, which are spaced apart from each other along a longitudinal axis of the shaft and are far from and adjacent to the eccentric mechanism, respectively. The first and second bearings are correlatively oriented, and thus an increase of a load to which the second bearing is subjected due to a force exerted upon the shaft in a cantilever manner during a compression operation is suppressed.

A heat-generating sliding portion is provided in the crank chamber. The supply passage includes a communication port that communicates with the crank chamber and a first throttle portion for throttling the refrigerant. At least parts of the supply passage and the bleed passage are formed in a drive shaft. A part of the bleed passage formed in the drive shaft is located between a part of the supply passage formed in the drive shaft and an outer peripheral surface of the drive shaft.
