Abstract: Disclosed are a mobile terminal capable of implementing an always-on function with a lower power, based on a motion, and a motion-based low power implementing method thereof. The method includes sensing a motion of a user by using an acceleration sensor in a low-power always-on that only the acceleration sensor is activated; a selectively activating an always-on function according to the sensed motion and deactivating the always-on function when no motion is sensed in an always-on state and automatically entering to the low-power always-on function.

Abstract: A watch-type mobile terminal includes: a terminal body; a sensor unit disposed on one surface of the terminal body, configured to determine whether the watch-type mobile terminal has been worn or not, and including a light emitting portion for emitting light of a first intensity at first time intervals, and a light receiving portion for sensing reflected light; and a controller configured to control the light emitting portion to emit light of a second intensity at second time intervals between the first time intervals, wherein the controller calculates a pressure value applied to the terminal body based on an optical amount of light incident onto the light receiving portion, and generates a specific control command based on the pressure value.

Abstract: A method for scoring training data samples according to an ability to preserve latent decision boundaries for previously observed classes while promoting learning from an input batch of new images from an online data stream, comprising: receiving the input batch of the new images from the online data stream, performing a memory retrieval process that retrieves data to be learned along with a new set of data from the memory to retain the previously learned knowledge, and performing a memory update process that selects and exchanges a small set of data to be saved in the memory in the memory update process. In addition, the method performs data valuation based on KNN-SV for both the memory retrieval and memory update processes to perform strategic and intuitive data selection based on the properties of KNN-SV.
