Abstract: A method for performing wireless communication by a first apparatus and an apparatus for supporting same are provided. The method comprises the steps of: receiving, from a base station, a radio resource control (RRC) message including information about a plurality of modulation and coding scheme (MCS) tables and information about the range of MCS values associated with the plurality of MCS tables; selecting a first MCS value within the range of MCS values associated with a first MCS table among the plurality of MCS tables; transmitting, to a second apparatus, sidelink control information (SCI) including information associated with the first MCS table and information associated with the first MCS value; and performing sidelink (SL) transmission to the second apparatus on the basis of the first MSC value, on an SL resource scheduled by the SCI, wherein the range of MCS values may be configured for each of the plurality of MCS tables.
