    摘要: In an image read-out method, image signals are obtained by scanning a material-to-be-scanned, which carries an image recording thereon and which is conveyed in a sub-scanning direction, by a light beam deflected by a rotating polygon mirror in a main scanning direction approximately normal to the sub-scanning direction, and photoelectrically detecting light, which carries the image and which is obtained from a portion scanned by the light beam, by a photodetector. The image signals each obtained in each of main scanning steps in a number obtained by a single turn of the rotating polygon mirror or turns thereof in a number equal to integral multiples of one are addition-processed to obtain an image signal over a single main scanning line.

    摘要: A radiation image read-out apparatus comprises a stimulating ray adjustment unit comprising a device for increasing the beam diameter of stimulating rays on the surface of a stimulable phosphor sheet, a device for decreasing the intensity of stimulating rays, and a device for changing the optical path of stimulating rays. The stimulating ray adjustment unit is moveable between a position for acting on stimulating rays and a position for not acting thereon. A reflection mirror for reflecting light emitted by the stimulable phosphor sheet when it is exposed to stimulating rays is positioned facing a light guide member for movement in such a direction that the distance between the reflection mirror and the light guide member changes. The movement of the stimulating ray adjustment unit to the position for acting on stimulating rays and the movement of the reflection mirror for increasing the distance are interlocked with each other.

    摘要: An apparatus for reading out an image by scanning comprises a stimulating ray source, a device for scanning a stimulable phosphor sheet carrying an image stored therein by stimulating rays forwardly and backwardly in a main scanning direction, a device for scanning the stimulable phosphor sheet by the stimulating rays in a sub-scanning direction normal to the main scanning direction, and a read-out device for detecting light emitted by the stimulable phosphor sheet when it is exposed to stimulating rays. A converging lens is positioned to converge the stimulating rays, and a light shielding member is positioned at the converging point to intercept the stimulating rays during the backward scanning period. Or, an acousto-optic modulator is positioned between the stimulating ray source and the converging lens to diffract the stimulating rays and generate diffracted light components other than a zero-order diffracted light component during the backward scanning period. A light shielding plate having a pinhole for passing only the zero-order diffracted light component is positioned at the converging point.

    摘要: A dark current component included in an image signal output from a detector of optical reading type is reduced in a radiation image data obtaining method and apparatus using the detector. A detector having radiation-insensitive areas at both ends of a stripe electrode outside an image area along the longitudinal direction thereof is used. An image signal output from a current detection amplifier is converted into image data having digital values by an A/D converter and input to a memory. A correction data calculation circuit finds correction data gradually decreasing from a starting area to the ending area of vertical scan in accordance with each position of each element along the longitudinal direction thereof, based on image data of the insensitive areas corresponding to the scan starting and ending areas. For each element, a subtraction circuit subtracts the correction data from image data of an image area.
