摘要： A liquid ejecting method for ejecting liquid by generation of a bubble includes preparing a head comprising an ejection outlet for ejecting the liquid, a bubble generation region for generating the bubble in the liquid, a movable member disposed faced to the bubble generation region and displaceable between a first position and a second position further from the bubble generation region than the first position; and displacing the movable member from the first position to the second position by pressure produced by the generation of the bubble in the bubble generating portion to permit expansion of the bubble more in a downstream side nearer to the ejection outlet than in an upstream side.

摘要： An ink jet head includes a first member with an energy generating element for generating energy to eject ink, a second member having an ejection outlet forming member provided with an ink ejection outlet through which the ink is ejected, the second member being affixed to the first member to form a liquid passage in fluid communication with the ejection outlet, and urging means for urging the first and second members together to substantially fix them against each other. The ejection outlet forming member has a jaw connected with a surface of the first member which has the energy generating element, the jaw being adjacent a first member side of the ejection outlet. The following relationships are satisfied, namely, b.gtoreq.5 microns, c.gtoreq.3 microns, and a+b is between 20 and 60 microns, where a is the thickness of the ejection outlet forming member, b is a depth of the jaw, and c is a distance between a connecting portion between the ejection outlet forming member and the first member and an inside end of the ejection outlet.

摘要： An ink jet recording method and ink jet recording apparatus used for recording in the method. The ink jet recording apparatus has an ink jet head which is provided with a plurality of elemental substrates having a plurality of discharge energy generating elements arranged in a line. The substrates are arranged in the direction of the line. The method includes selecting blocks of discharge energy generating elements to be ready for driving one after another continuously and causing the position to start the driving cycle for the discharge energy generating elements to be at a center portion of each of the elemental substrates away from respective seamed portions between the elemental substrates.

摘要： A print head of this invention has a plurality of heater boards, and each heater board has a plurality of heating resistors, driver circuits corresponding to the heating resistors, one shiftregister for inputting serial data, a data latch circuit for latching print data input from the shift register, a pre-heat data latch circuit for latching selection data of selecting one or several of pre-heat signals input from the shift register, and a pre-heat selection circuit for selecting one or a plurality of pre-heat signals in accordance with the selection data latched in the pre-heat data latch circuit. In a print operation, one or several of the plurality of input pre-heat signals are selected to pre-heat the heating resistors, and when a main heat signal is input thereafter, the heating resistors are driven in accordance with the print data latched by the data latch circuit, thus performing the print operation.
