    摘要: When a print job described in JL (job language) is transferred from a host device via a communication medium, JL is interpreted by a JL parser, encapsulated PDL (page description language) is interpreted by a PDL translator, and image data to be printed is produced, and printed in a printer engine. When printing is completed, information on the paper output place is stored in a job information table. When an inquiry in JL is made from the host, on the basis of this, the job information table is retrieved, and answer data on the corresponding paper output place is returned to the host device, and informed to a user via display processing on the host device or the like.

    摘要: An output apparatus comprises: a plurality of interface sections for inputting data which is supplied from an upper apparatus such as a host computer; an input buffer section to store the input data; an analyzing section for analyzing the input data and for forming predetermined image data; and an output section such as a laser beam printer or the like for outputting or printing the image data. The output apparatus further includes a judging section for judging whether the data inputted from which one of the plurality of interface sections should be deleted, a deleting section for deleting by a predetermined method the data of the input buffer section in which the data to be deleted has been stored, and a notifying section to notify the interface which is deleting at present to the operator. When the designated interface section differs from the interface section which is printing at present, it is judged that the data in the input buffer section should be deleted. When the designated interface section coincides with the interface section which is printing at present, the data in both of the input buffer section and the data storing section to store the image data is deleted.

    摘要: A processing method and apparatus using a focused energy beam for conducting local energy beam processing in a focused energy beam irradiating area by irradiating a sample with a focused energy beam such as an ion beam or an electron beam in an etching gas atmosphere. As the etching gas, a mixed gas different in composition from any conventional one is employed and the gas is uniformly supplied to an etching area and at least one of the components of such a mixed gas is a spontaneous reactive gas for use in etching the sample spontaneously and isotropically. With this arrangement, it is possible to subject to local etching a material for which the local etching has been impossible to provide since a single etching gas causes a reaction too fierce or causes almost nearly no reaction.
