摘要： When data of large capacity compared with the capacity of a recording medium used for storing a backup is divided into sections of data and backed up on recording media, a unit configured to divide data and generate sections of the data in order to record the data on recording media, the sections having an order, and a unit configured to generate representative images for each of the recording media, on which the sections of the data are recorded, are provided. Representative images assigned to a certain recording medium include a representative image generated using one of the sections of the data to be recorded on the certain recording medium and a representative image generated using at least one of a previous section and a next section of the data regarding the section of the data, whereby the relationship between the recording media can be easily recognized.

摘要： A synchronous motor including therein a three-phase inverter and position sensors, having a unit for calculating a digital input current value from the analog output of an input current detection circuit that detects the input current flowing into the DC input terminal of the three-phase inverter, and a digital feedback speed control unit for adjusting the amplitudes and frequency of the AC voltages outputted from the three-phase inverter in such a manner that the motor speed calculated by a motor speed calculation unit 41 on the basis of the outputs of the position sensors approaches a speed command value received by a communication reception unit from outside the synchronous motor. The synchronous motor further includes therein a communication transmission unit for transmitting the input current value and the motor speed to outside the synchronous motor.

The drive force is generated from the assisting drive unit using the curving information corresponding to the detected curving amount θa.

摘要： In cowling structure for an outboard motor, a through hole is formed below an upper-cowling joining surface of a lower cowling; control cables are supported with a cable supporting groove of a back side plate, and the back side plate is fixed to the through hole; a sealing member that is covered on the outside of the control cables, is fitted into the through hole; a groove of a front side plate is placed around the control cables, and the front side plate is set onto the sealing member; and the sealing member is fixed to the lower cowling by a bolt together with the front side plate. The cowling structure for an outboard motor can prevent water intrusion by removing a notch on an upper-cowling joining surface of a lower cowling.

摘要： A hook assembly is arranged to engage with an engaged member to fix a first housing to a second housing of an outboard motor. The hook assembly includes a rotation shaft, a hook member, a lever, and a weight. The rotation shaft is rotatably mounted on the first housing. A recessed portion is provided in the hook member. The recessed portion is arranged to open in first rotation direction. The recessed portion engages with the engaged member. The lever extends from the rotation shaft in a second rotation direction opposite to the first rotation direction of the recessed portion. The weight regulates the rotation of the hook member in the second rotation direction when the hook member and the engaged member are engaged together. The arrangement provides a highly-operable hook assembly for the outboard motor that prevents disengagement even when an obstacle collides with the outboard motor during traveling of a boat.

摘要： The present invention discloses a liquid crystal display apparatus and a liquid crystal television which are provided with a backlight to be lighted up by a separately-excited inverter circuit and realize improvement of contrast in low brightness. A microcomputer 50 obtains a brightness average value of image data from a brightness average value detecting circuit 22, directs an inverter circuit 62 to oscillate at a duty factor corresponding to the obtained brightness average value, and directs an output processing circuit 33 to perform gamma correction processing with gamma correction data corresponding to the obtained brightness average value. When the brightness average value is lowered, the microcomputer 50 lowers the duty factor to be outputted therefrom and lowers the brightness of the backlight 61. Moreover, when the brightness average value is lowered, the microcomputer 50 directs the output processing circuit to perform gamma correction processing with gamma correction data for widening a brightness range.
