    摘要: An armature for use in a motor has a plurality of teeth, a plurality of slots and coils of three kinds of phases. A plurality of the slots is formed between the coadjacent teeth. The coils of three phases are wound around the teeth. The armature has a coil structure, according to which radial force acting on a specific tooth is greater than radial force acting on another tooth. A peak value of the radial force acting on the specific tooth is approximated to a peak value of the radial force acting on another tooth in such a manner that a flux path in and/or adjacent to the specific tooth is made narrower than a flux path in and/or adjacent to another tooth.

Electromagnetic force is generated between the stator and the plunger and the plunger moves relative to the stator. The valve body adjusts the opening degree of a valve hole. A flat surface and a peripheral wall are formed in an end of the stator. The peripheral wall has a tapered cross-section with an inclined inner surface. The inclined inner surface and the flat surface define a recess. The plunger has a frustum portion. The frustum portion includes a flat distal surface and an annular inclined surface. The taper angle of the peripheral wall is equal to or less than twenty degrees. The diameter of the flat distal surface of the frustum portion is equal to or greater than eighty percent of the largest diameter of the annular inclined surface.

    摘要: An improved torque sensor for detecting the direction and the magnitude of a torque applied to a shaft. The sensor includes a magnetostrictive layer, a pair of bearings, a stator and two nuts. The sleeve is fixed the circumference of the shaft. The layer has a magnetostriction effect in accordance with torque applied to the shaft. A pair of collars are fixed to the shaft at opposite ends of the layer. The bearings are connected to the shaft. Each bearing contacts one of the collars. The stator accommodates two pairs of coils. Each coil pair includes an exciting coil and a detecting coil. The coils surround and face the magnetostrictive layer. The axial position of the stator is determined by the bearings. Each nut is threaded to a threaded portion fixed to the shaft and presses one of the bearings against the corresponding collar. Accordingly, the axial position of the stator is determined.

    摘要: A stator of a motor includes a stator core having a plurality of teeth forming slots between any two adjacent teeth and a plurality of phase coils provided in the slots, each formed by wave winding and made of a continuous wire. Each phase coil includes a first wave winding bundle and a second wave winding bundle that is passed through a first slot and a second slot. The first slot is located adjacent to one side of a group of slots through which the phase coils other than said each phase coil are passed and the second slot is located adjacent to the other side of the group of slots. The first wave winding bundle is passed through a third slot and a fourth slot. The third slot is located adjacent to the first slot on the opposite side of the first slot from the group of slots and the fourth slot is located adjacent to the second slot on the opposite side of the second slot from the group of slots.

    摘要: The motor-driven compressor includes a housing, a compression mechanism, a rotary shaft and an electric motor all disposed in the housing, a protective film and a fixing resin. The electric motor is adapted to rotate the rotary shaft thereby to drive the compression mechanism. The electric motor has a rotor fixed on the rotary shaft and a stator supported by the housing. The rotor has a permanent magnet and a magnet hole in which the permanent magnet is inserted. The magnet hole extends in an axial direction of the rotor. The protective film is formed on a surface of the permanent magnet for improving corrosion resistance of the permanent magnet. The fixing resin is filled in at least part of a gap between the permanent magnet and a wall of the magnet hole for fixing the permanent magnet to the wall of the magnet hole.

    摘要: A heating and cooling system, which includes a refrigerant circulation circuit, first and second targets, first and second refrigerant circuits, a first switching section, and a control device, is disclosed. The first switching section is selectively switched between a first position at which a refrigerant discharged from a discharge area of a compressor is permitted to flow to the first target and a second position at which the refrigerant is not permitted to flow to the first target. The control device switches the first switching section to the first position so that the refrigerant circulation circuit functions as a first refrigerant circuit, thereby heating the first target and cooling the second target. The control device switches the first switching section to the second position so that the refrigerant circulation circuit functions as a second refrigerant circuit, thereby cooling only the second target.

    摘要: A method of fixing a stator core in a cylindrical housing includes the following steps. The first step is a step of blanking a plurality of stator core sheets from an electromagnetic steel sheet by using a die. The die has a circular outside contour for blanking the stator core sheets from the electromagnetic steel sheet and each of the blanked stator core sheets has an outside contour. The second step is a step of forming the stator core by laminating the blanked stator core sheets one on another. The third step is a step of setting a non-fixing position of the stator core to the housing in such an angular position where difference in diametral dimension of the outside contour between the die and the stator core is relatively large.

The method includes forming coil pieces by winding wire with flat cross section into single row lamination state including wire layers aligned along perpendicular line to flat surfaces of wire. The coil is formed for first portion to be inserted in slot and second portion not inserted in slot appear alternately along the coil. The method displaces wire layers at the first portion changing the single row lamination state to connectively laminated state where wire layers at portion to be inserted in slot each adjacent pair of the wire layers partially overlap with respect to direction perpendicular to flat wire surfaces. The method includes inserting wires of first portion into slot, passing each wire layer through slot opening successively from the top wire layer of lamination and displacing each wire layer at first portion from each other.
