摘要: An image forming apparatus including a controller configured to switch the security level between a first state and a second state. The first state allows printing by an image forming section of only first print data provided with verification information among print data a communication unit received. The second state allows printing by the image forming section of print data the communication unit received irrespective of presence or absence of verification information. When, in the first state, the controller receives a permission signal instructing permission of printing of second print data not provided with verification information, the controller switches the security level from the first state to the second state so as to allow printing of the second print data by the image forming section.

摘要: A method of controlling a regulating hole for regulating an amount of light, a flow rate of fluid, a pressure of fluid passing through a tubular passage is provided.A partition wall 5 formed by a viscoelastic solid containing magnetic particles is transversely disposed in the tubular passage 3 through which light or fluid passes. The partition wall 5 is provided with a regulating hole 6 for regulating an amount of the light, a flow rate of the fluid, or a pressure of the fluid so that the regulating hole 6 penetrates in an axial direction. Magnetic field gradient is generated the partition wall 5 in a radial direction in the tubular passage 3 to thereby change an opening degree of the regulating hole 6.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to an optical member in which an antireflection concave-convex structure for suppressing reflection of light is provided on its surface, and an optical system, an optical unit and an optical device each including the optical member. The present disclosure provides an optical member in which the generation of reflection light and diffraction light is sufficiently suppressed and which can be fabricated in a simple manner.A antireflection concave-convex structure (15) for suppressing reflection of light, formed of filiform convex portions (16) regularly arranged, is provided on an interior surface (1a) of a lens tube (1). The antireflection concave-convex structure (15) is configured so that an angle between a normal vector of an incident plane of the light whose reflection is to be suppressed and a vector connecting respective apexes of adjacent two of the structure units at the incident surface is 60 degrees or less.

摘要: A light-emitting device includes a light-emitting element 110; and a lens section 132 covering over the light-emitting element 110. The lens section 132 includes an entrance surface S1 on which light from the light-emitting element 110 is incident; an exit surface S2 from which the light incident on the entrance surface S1 is emitted; and an optical axis L extending so as to penetrate the entrance surface S1 and the exit surface S2. A concave section 132a is formed in an area of the exit surface S2, which contains the optical axis L, and two flat sections 132b are formed so as to face each other across the optical axis L. The exit surface S2 defines an upwardly-protruding curved surface formed between the two flat sections 132b, and the optical axis L is coincidence with a reference optical axis of the light-emitting element 110.

摘要: The present invention provides a method of fabricating a crystal oscillator with pedestal for surface mounting, which is provided on a base surface of a crystal oscillator from which a pair of lead wires extends and which is formed by injection molding using a mold with a liquid-crystal polymer as raw material; wherein protrusions that follow the shape of said mold are provided on at least a corner around the outer periphery of the surface of the oscillator pedestal facing said base surface of said crystal oscillator; a non-defective product is assumed to be one in which the upper surface of each of said protrusions is a flat surface, but a defective product is assumed to be one in which the flat surface of said protrusion is ridged; and only a non-defective product is mounted onto the base surface of the crystal oscillator. This makes it possible to provide a method of fabricating a crystal oscillator by which reliability is increased while the strength of the oscillator pedestal is maintained.
