摘要: A ripple detecting device for detecting a ripple from an armature current outputted from a motor by overlapping a low band noise having a frequency of one/n (wherein “n” is a natural number more than 1) includes an initial ripple detecting device for detecting a cycle of the ripple in advance, a feature detecting device for detecting a feature of the ripple from the armature current outputted from the motor. The ripple detecting device further includes a ripple detecting control device for detecting the ripple by comparing the feature of the ripple with the low band noise having the frequency of one/n detected by the feature detecting device at a time before the present time with the feature of the ripple detected by the feature detecting device at the present time and judging that a ripple is generated when the features of the time before the present time and the present time present are resembled.

摘要: In a light-emitting device comprising an organic electroluminescent device including one or more organic thin layers (at least including a light-emitting layer) which are sandwiched between a transparent first electrode formed on a light-transmitting substrate and a second electrode, the light-transmitting substrate is formed so as to include parts for reflecting light emitted by the organic electroluminescent device (corresponding to a pixel) and thereby preventing the light from entering adjacent pixel areas. The light-transmitting substrate is formed of material having a refractive index of 1.65 or more or a refractive index higher than that of the light-emitting layer. A surface of the light-transmitting substrate opposite to the first electrode is provided with a light-diffusing function for avoiding total reflection. By such composition, a light-emitting device with no light leakage and excellent light extraction efficiency can be realized and thereby a high-intensity low-voltage-driven display device can be realized.

摘要: An organic EL device including a substrate, at least one organic thin-film layer overlying the main surface, and a pair of electrodes sandwiching therebetween the organic thin-film layer, at least one of the electrodes being a metallic electrode, the organic thin film layer defining a recombination electroluminescence region which is apart from the metallic electrode by at least 100 nm and has a periodic structure. In the organic EL device of the present invention, the emitted light is efficiently taken out by increasing the distance between the EL light-emitting region and the metal electrode for separating the light-emitting location from the metal electrode.

摘要: To perform with high accuracy the analog-to-digital conversion of signals of an air flow meter irrespective of fluctuation of a reference voltage of an analog-to-digital conversion circuit. A thermal type air flow meter including means for measuring an intake air flow rate by heating and controlling a heating resistor and means for performing analog-to-digital conversion of an air flow rate signal of the air flow rate measurement means, which inputs a reference voltage to the analog-to-digital conversion circuit so that the reference voltage can be converted from the analog signal to the digital signal by the analog-to-digital conversion circuit, and the air flow rate signal can be corrected in accordance with the value of the reference voltage. A/D conversion of the air flow rate signal can be executed accurately even when the voltage of the reference voltage source of the A/D converter in an electrical control unit is fluctuating.

摘要: The output characteristics of the sensing device or the control quantity of the sensing element can be adjusted by extracting an adjusting terminal in addition to a power source terminal, a ground terminal, an output terminal and the like outside a housing containing and protecting an electronic circuit. Further, by arranging the adjusting terminal inside a connector housing containing terminals such as the power source terminal, the ground terminal, the output terminal and the like, it is possible to prevent contact of foreign objects to the adjusting terminal and to water-proof the terminals for preventing corrosion since an associated connector is attached to the connector when the sensing device is actually used.
