摘要: Embodiments of a multi-link access point (AP) device, station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The multi-link AP device may comprise multiple APs. The multi-link AP device may encode a frame for transmission by one of the APs of the multi-link AP device. The multi-link AP device may encode the frame to include signaling to enable multi-link discovery of the APs of the multi-link AP device. The multi-link AP device may encode the signaling to include: a reduced neighbor report (RNR) element that identifies the APs of the multi-link AP device, and a multiple AP element. The multiple AP element may be configurable to include: common information for the APs of the multi-link AP device, and per-AP sub-elements that include per-AP information related to the APs of the multi-link AP device.

摘要: For example, an Access Point (AP) may be configured to identify a Trigger-Based (TB) sensing measurement exchange of a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) sensing procedure to be initiated by the AP. For example, the AP may be configured to determine that a non-AP Multi-Link Device (MLD) at an Enhanced Multi-Link Single Radio (EMLSR) operation mode is to participate as a sensing responder of the TB sensing measurement exchange. For example, the AP may be configured to transmit an Initial Control Frame (ICF) addressed to the non-AP MLD prior to initiating the TB sensing measurement exchange, for example, based on the determination that the non-AP MLD at the EMLSR operation mode is to participate as a sensing responder of the TB sensing measurement exchange.

摘要: A multi-link access point (AP) device is configured for multi-link operation to communicate with a plurality of non-AP stations (STAs) over a plurality of corresponding links. A multi-link policy element is encoded for transmission to the non-AP STAs to signal a multi-link policy. The multi-link policy element comprises a common policy sub-element and a plurality of link-specific policy sub-elements. The common policy sub-element is applicable to all links. Each of the link-specific policy sub-elements is applicable to a single link. The link-specific policy sub-elements comprise at least a first link-specific policy sub-element applicable to a first link and a second link-specific policy sub-element applicable to a second link. The common policy sub-element defines a link policy for all links that have been set up between the multi-link AP device and the non-AP STAs. Each link-specific policy element defines a link policy specific to an associated link.

摘要: An access point (AP) may operate as a master AP (AP1) to perform multi-AP coordinated beamforming (CBF). The AP1 may to initiate a first sounding sequence with one or more STAs associated with the AP1 (BSS STAs) and the one or more STAs associated with a second AP (AP2) (OBSS STAs). In these embodiments, initiation of the first sounding sequence triggers the AP2 to join the sounding sequence to initiate a second sound sequence with the BSS STAs and the OBSS STAs.

A device may establish a first communication link using a first antenna transmit chain of one or more transmit chains of the initiator, wherein the one or more antenna transmit chains further comprise a second antenna transmit chain. The device may initiate a MIMO BRP TXSS over the one or more antenna transmit chains. The device may map a single space-time stream over the one or more antenna transmit chains. The device may cause to send, to a responder device, an enhanced directional multi-gigabit (EDMG) frame using spatial expansion based on the mapping of the single space-time stream. The device may identify a feedback frame from the responder device. The device may determine one or more antenna weight vectors (AWVs) to use in a MIMO phase of the MIMO beamforming training based on the feedback frame.

摘要: Embodiments of a STA configured for proximity detection by multiple WLAN link tracking are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the STA performs WLAN sensing using two or more WLAN links with one or more other STAs to track a channel state of each link and performs motion detection based on the tracked channel state of each WLAN link to detect motion in any of the WLAN links. If motion is detected in at least some of the WLAN links, the STA may perform proximity detection to indicate proximity by combining results of the WLAN sensing for each link to determine whether the motion is proximate to the STA or proximate to one of the other STAs.

The device may cause to send, in an operating mode established state, the data to the second device over the first frequency band and/or the second frequency band in the multiband link aggregation session.
