    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication link between the UE and a serving base station may be established. The UE may measure, at an application layer of the UE, a set of quality of experience variables associated with different service types. The UE may measure, at an access stratum of the UE, a set of radio resource management variables associated with the communication link between the UE and the serving base station and a communication link between the UE and a corresponding set of one or more neighboring base stations associated with the communication links. The UE may transmit a measurement report to the serving base station indicating information associated with the quality of experience variables and the radio resource management variables in a multi-layer readable format.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a first control message that includes a quality of experience (QoE) measurement configuration that indicates one or more QoE measurement references for the EE to perform and one or more indicator flags requesting a start indication and an end indication and an associated minimization of drive test (MDT) configuration to be aligned with the one or more QoE measurement references. The EE may transmit the start or end indication associated with the measurement session based on the indicator flag being set for the measurement session, and may receive a second control message that includes the MDT configuration for the EE to apply in addition to the QoE measurement references.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may measure quality of experience (QoE) metrics and transmit a QoE report that is formatted to be readable by a base station, such that a base station may receive the QoE report and independently perform adjustments associated with the service being utilized by the UE. A UE may receive a configuration message that includes a first configuration for reporting QoE measurements to a base station and a second configuration for reporting QoE measurements to a QoE server. The UE may measure one or more QoE metrics in accordance with the configuration message, and generate a first report for the base station based on the QoE measurements and the first configuration. Upon generating the report, the UE may transmit the first report to the base station in accordance with the first configuration.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to measurement and event reporting from a distributed unit (DU) of a disaggregated base station to a central unit (CU) of the disaggregated base station. The CU can configure the DU with a measurement configuration associated with at least one value to be obtained by the DU and a reporting configuration for reporting the at least one value to the CU. The measurement reports can be sent by DU periodically or the measurement reports can be event-triggered based on the reporting configuration. In addition, the measurement reports can be UE-specific or DU/cell-specific. The measurement reports may include random access channel (RACH) reports, uplink measurement reports, radio link protocol (RLC) reports, medium access control (MAC) protocol reports, and other types of measurement or event-based reports.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support enhanced sidelink reporting operations. In a first aspect, a device for wireless communication includes at least one processor and a memory coupled to the at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to detect a radio link failure for a link with a second network node, and to generate sidelink radio link failure information based on the detected radio link failure.
