    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit a set of system information to a user equipment (UE), and the UE may identify an operation mode indicating that the system information is applicable for a plurality cells. When the UE detects that it is in a new cell associated with a second base station, the UE may apply the received system information to establish a communication channel in the new cell associated with the second base station. As such, rather than receiving and decoding new system information upon detection of a new cell/base station, the UE may be able to efficiently apply the known system information to establish a connection in the new cell.

The method includes transmitting a message to a number of user equipments (UEs) over a single frequency network channel using a first beam sweep pattern. The method also includes identifying a second beam sweep pattern from a plurality of beam sweep patterns that is different from the first beam sweep pattern for retransmissions of the message. The method further includes transmitting a retransmission of the message to the plurality of UEs over the single frequency network channel using the second beam sweep pattern.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A UE may communicate with a set of transceiver nodes (e.g., transmission reception points (TRPs)) in a first transceiver node operation mode (e.g., a multi-TRP mode). A first transceiver node of the set of transceiver nodes may receive, from a second of the set of transceiver nodes, an indication to switch between rate matching states. The first transceiver node may switch from a first rate matching state to a second rate matching state and may transmit a downlink shared channel based on a resource configuration associated with the second rate matching state. The UE may receive the shared channel based on an antenna port configuration determined by the UE based on the first transceiver node operation and rate matching information. The rate matching information may be provided by the first transceiver node.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently monitoring for wake-up signaling from one or more transmission and reception points (TRPs), the wake-up signaling indicating the presence of data or control information in an on-duration state of a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle. In particular, select TRPs may be used to transmit wake-up signaling to a user equipment (UE), and the UE may be configured to monitor for wake-up signaling from the select TRPs. Once the UE receives wake-up signaling prior to an on-duration state of a DRX cycle from any of the select TRPs, the UE may then determine the TRPs scheduled to transmit data or control information in the on-duration state (e.g., based on the WUS or based on further control signaling), and the UE may receive the data or control information from the TRPs in the on-duration state.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for beamforming in wireless communications. Some implementations more specifically relate to beamforming configurations for multicast communications. A transmitting device may transmit multicast data to multiple receiving devices, concurrently, via a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The PDSCH may be preceded by a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The PDCCH may provide scheduling information for the PDSCH, including a multicast beam associated with the PDSCH and a timing offset or delay between the PDCCH and the PDSCH. A receiving device may determine that the PDSCH contains multicast data based on an indication in the PDCCH. To receive the PDSCH, each receiving device may tune its antennas in a direction of the scheduled multicast beam or a default beam based on the delay between the PDCCH and the PDSCH.
