A user equipment (UE) may generate during a first time period, an uplink (UL) communication signal based on a scheduled grant or a configured UL grant. The UE may detect a downlink (DL) communication from a base station (BS) during a second time period after the first time period. The DL communication is devoid of the scheduled grant and the configured UL grant. The UE may transmit to the BS, the UL communication signal based on the scheduled grant or the configured UL grant in response to detecting the DL communication.

In some implementations, a user equipment (UE) may use a timer to maintain an ON duration in a DRX cycle based on receiving a downlink control information (DCI) message with a data-to-feedback timing indicator (for example, a K1 value) indicating a non-numeric value for a data message. For example, the UE may receive a DCI message with feedback timing for the data message based on maintaining the ON duration. In some other implementations, a UE may use a timer to maintain an ON duration following a feedback opportunity to support dynamic group-based HARQ messaging. For example, the UE may receive a DCI message requesting a retransmission of feedback information based on maintaining the ON duration.

Two or more different groups of downlink transmissions may each have an associated transport block (TB) level or code block group (CBG) level group-based acknowledgment feedback, and a base station may transmit downlink control information to a UE that indicates one or more parameters that are used to determine which downlink transmissions are to be reported in the group-based feedback at a TB level, CBG level, or combinations thereof. Based on the parameters in the downlink control information, the UE may determine the feedback to be reported, and a timing for when to transmit the feedback to the base station.

The UE may identify a transmission gap between the first uplink transmission and the second uplink transmission of the plurality of uplink transmissions by the UE during the channel occupancy time, the transmission gap exceeding a threshold time. The UE may determine that the transmission gap corresponds to a lost uplink grant. The UE may modify the first uplink transmission or the second uplink transmission based at least in part on the determination that the transmission gap corresponds to the lost uplink grant.

    摘要: Hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgement (ACK) feedback codebook enhancements are disclosed. A size of feedback codebook may be reduced explicitly or implicitly. For example, an indicator may be identified by a corresponding field of a downlink control message. In some aspects, the indicator may indicate that multiple Physical Downlink or Uplink Shared Channels (PDSCHs/PUSCHs) are actually scheduled during one or more slots of a window corresponding to the feedback codebook. Responsive to receiving the indicator, a device may refrain from reducing the size of the feedback codebook to exclude acknowledgement feedback for additional possible PDSCH/PUSCH occasions of the slots of the window. In some aspects, a device identifies possible PDSCH/PUSCH occasions that occur outside of one or more Channel Occupancy Times (COTs) of a window. The device may generate a reduced size feedback codebook by excluding the possible PDSCH/PUSCH occasions that occur outside of the COTs of the window.

    摘要: Random access channel access and validity procedures are disclosed. In one aspect, the medium access control (MAC) indications multiple random access occasions (ROs) to user equipments (UEs) for random access transmissions. In such aspect, random access failure would only be declared if listen before talk (LBT) procedures for the random access transmission fail on all of the ROs indicated by the MAC layer. Similarly, in additional aspects, a UE will not apply a backoff value for any LBT failures for random access attempts that occur within an LBT time window. In further aspects, a UE may determine the validity of ROs that overlap with a discovery reference signal measurement timing configuration (DMTC) window. In such aspects, the UE may not use overlapping ROs or may determine a portion of the DMTC window that is not used for base station transmissions and declare the overlapping ROs with the unused portion valid.
