    Abstract: The various embodiments herein provide a method and system for operating a multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) mobile device. The method includes identifying a common suitable public land mobile network (PLMN) cell between a first radio frequency (RF) unit and a second RF unit of the mobile device. The first RF unit and the second RF unit of the mobile device are currently camped on different PLMN cells. Further, the method includes enforcing at least one of the first RF unit and the second RF unit to camp on said common suitable PLMN cell and disabling one of the first RF unit and the second RF unit when at least one of the first RF unit and the second RF unit camps on the common suitable PLMN cell.

    Abstract: A method and system for providing data communication for machine type communication (MTC) devices based wireless communication. The method comprises selecting at least one cluster head for a plurality of clusters, receiving by the cluster head a data traffic transfer request from the one or more MTC devices determining availability of a network resources for transferring the data traffic, establishing a dedicated connection with a base station for transferring the data traffic from the MTC devices to the base station through the connection established between the cluster head and the base station. The data traffic transfer request comprises one of an activation status, a buffer occupancy status and a delay tolerance of the one or more MTC devices.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described for positioning a Low Altitude Platform Station (LAPS) based drone cells for supporting communication in a 3GPP network. The methods may include receiving at least one feedback parameter from a UE pertaining to a current network traffic flow and mobility with respect of the UE. The UE is selected for an aerial network through a drone base station (DBS) cell based on service requirement determined from the feedback parameter. Further, a position for at least one DBS-cell is determined with respect to the at least one selected UE based on the at least one parameter to serve the selected UE. An aerial-communication link is established between the selected UE and the DBS cell by deploying one or more LAPS as a drone base station (DBS) in accordance with the determined position of DBS-cell to thereby augment a network connectivity of the selected UE.
