    Abstract: Systems and methods for communicating are described. According to some embodiments, a first device, with at least one second device in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system may allocate at least one resource unit (RU) to the at least one second device and generate an RU allocation subfield defining the allocated at least one RU. In some examples, the allocation of the at least one RU includes allocating a single RU or a multi-RU to a second device and setting a maximum of one multiplexed second device in a single RU or a multi-RU corresponding to 242 or less subcarriers.

    Abstract: A method of communicating, by a first device, with at least one second device in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system includes allocating at least one resource unit (RU) within a bandwidth to a second device; generating at least one subfield defining the at least one RU; generating a trigger frame comprising a user information field comprising the at least one subfield, and transmitting a PPDU including the trigger frame to the at least one second device, wherein the generating comprises setting at least seven bits associated with the at least one RU and setting at least two bits as a value defining a subband that includes the at least one RU when the band width comprises at least four subbands.

    Abstract: A beamformee device includes a channel estimator, first and second beamforming matrix providers and a dimension reduction unit. The channel estimator receives a NDP through a channel, and obtains channel information of the channel based on the NDP. The first beamforming matrix provider provides wideband beamforming matrices based on the channel information. The dimension reduction unit generates equivalent channel information based on the wideband beamforming matrices. The second beamforming matrix provider provides beamforming matrices based on the equivalent channel information. The wideband beamforming matrices and the subcarrier beamforming matrices are fed back to the beamformer device. Any one or any combination of the plurality of wideband beamforming matrices and the plurality of subcarrier beamforming matrices are selected from codebooks.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method of transmitting a message for measuring a distance between a first terminal and a second terminal that are positioned in a basic service set (BSS), and in this case, the first terminal transmits a fine timing measurement (FTM) request frame for beginning of measurement of a distance to second terminal. The first terminal receives an Ack frame for the FTM request frame from the second terminal. The first terminal transmits a first data frame to the second terminal, by the first terminal. The first terminal receives a first Ack frame for the first data frame from the second terminal, by the first terminal. The first terminal transmits a second data frame but not the FTM frame to the second terminal. The first terminal receives a second Ack frame for the second data frame from the second terminal.
