摘要: A first instruction requiring that a data word should be read out from a data memory and be stored in a certain register in a register set, and then a second instruction requiring that two operands, respectively read out from the register and another register in the register set, should be added are pipeline-processed. In a high-speed mode in which an operation clock having a higher frequency is supplied, a data cache intervened between an instruction execution circuit and the data memory is controlled to supply a data word to a WB (write back) stage of the instruction execution circuit within two cycles with respect to an input address associated with the first instruction. In order to execute the second instruction, the data word is supplied from the WB stage to an EX (operation execution) stage of the instruction execution circuit. In a low-speed mode in which an operation clock having a lower frequency is supplied, the data cache is controlled to supply a data word to an MEM (memory access) stage of the instruction execution circuit within one cycle with respect to an input address associated with the first instruction. In order to execute the second instruction, the data word is bypassed from the MEM stage to the EX stage.

摘要: A method of knitting a knit-in rib or tubular jacquard of a double-jersey weave into a tubular body free or substantially free of a sewing process by forming a course of loops of either of the front fabric or the rear fabric with knitting needles from a first needle bed. The method includes the steps of transferring the knitted loops of the fabric at its inside portion for the knit-in jacquard to be knitted in to the knitting needles of the second needle bed facing the first needle bed so that the number of fabric wales at its inside portion is half gauge of the fabric at its outside surface, forming a course of knitted loops of the knit-in jacquard by using the needles of the first and second needle beds retaining the fabric knitted loops, transferring the knitted fabric loops of the inside portion formed with the needles of the second needle bed back to the knitting needles of the first needle bed facing the second needle bed, and knitting courses of knitted loops of the other of the front fabric and the rear fabric. The above steps are repeated to knit the the knit-in jacquard of a double-jersey weave into the tubular knitting body.

摘要: A processor for executing branch instructions each including a branch procedure and another procedure includes the following units. A prefetch unit prefetches instructions from memory and updates a prefetch address which is held in the prefetch unit. A control unit controls an execution of the branch procedure and an execution of the other procedure, which follows the execution of the branch procedure. The branch procedure is to write the prefetch address held in the prefetch unit into branch target address. The prefetch unit sequentially prefetches instructions which start at the branch target address when the other procedure is in execution.

摘要: A method of finishing the edges of a knitted fabric which makes use of a flat knitting machine which has at least a pair of front and rear needle beds, one bed or both being arranged for lengthwise movement, transferring edge loops of the knitted fabric hooked on their respective knitting needles from one needle bed to the other; knitting a strand of stitches from a given number of the loops carried on the knitting needles of the needle bed at one side; transferring the front end loops of the strand onto desired knitting needles of the opposite needle bed; moving the needle beds relative to each other for displacing the front end loops of the strand from the start position of the same; placing the front end loops of the strand over given edge loops of the knitted fabric for coupling; and repeating the foregoing steps from transferring the edge loops of the knitted fabric to placing the front end loops of the strand over given edge loops of the knitted fabric.

摘要: Blow-moldable polybutylene terephthalate resin compositions include a polybutylene terephthalate base polymer and an effective amount of between 0.01 to 5 parts by weight (based on 100 parts by weight of the polybutylene terephthalate base polymer) of an organosilane compound to allow blow-molding of hollow articles therefrom. Optionally, the compositions further include between 0.5 to 30 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the polybutylene terephthalate base polymer, of an olefinic copolymer of an .alpha.-olefin with an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated glycidyl ester. The organosilane and, when present, the olefinic copolymer increase the melt tension of the compositions to an extent that a tubular parison does not increase more than 25% in length when suspended under its own weight for 10 seconds. In this manner, the polybutylene terephthalate resin compositions may be satisfactorily used to form blow-molded hollow articles.

摘要: An image processing apparatus having a character extraction unit for extracting an area whose density distribution characteristic meets a predetermined condition such as a binarization threshold and a size and a type of local filtering, from an input image of multiple gray levels, and extracts an object area as an output image from the input image by using the characteristic extraction unit. An area designation means designates an area having a uniform density distribution and containing the object area, to the input image. Condition determination means determines the condition for the characteristic extraction unit based on the density distribution characteristic of the input image in the designated area. In an image processing expert system, the image characteristics of the object image and the background in the area designated by the area designation means are evaluated and analyzed and the inquiry in the form of message is effected to quantize the evaluation of the image characteristic. As a result, the area extraction procedure can be easily executed by the interaction with an operator.

摘要: In elevator equipment in which an elevator controller is connected by a common transmission line to an elevator cage and a plurality of apparatus installed at elevator stops on respective floors, signals are transmitted from the elevator controller to the elevator cage and the plurality of apparatus of elevator stops on respective floors. Information transmitted between the elevator controller and the cage as well as each apparatus at elevator stop on each floor is sorted into information which is different for each apparatus on each floor and the cage (unique information) and information which is the same for the plurality of apparatus at elevator stops on respective floors and the cage (common information), and the unique information is transmitted during a first period and the common information is transmitted during a second period, thereby reducing time required for transmission of information during one cycle.
