摘要: An air-conditioning system has a refrigerant circuit. The circuit includes a condenser, a expansion valve, an evaporator and a variable displacement compressor. The system has a pressure difference detector. The pressure difference detector detects the pressure difference between two pressure monitoring points located on the refrigerant circuit. A control valve and a controller control the displacement of the compressor in accordance with the pressure difference detected by the pressure difference detector. This permits the displacement of the compressor to be quickly changed.

摘要: A variable displacement compressor air conditions a compartment and includes a suction chamber, a discharge chamber and a crank chamber. A controller controls the pressure in the crank chamber to vary the compressor displacement. Two pressure monitoring points are located in a refrigerant circuit. The pressure in the crank chamber is controlled by a control valve. The control valve operates based on the pressure difference between the monitoring points such that a target pressure difference is maintained. A temperature sensor monitors the temperature of the compartment. A detection circuit compares the monitored temperature with reference values. When the monitored temperature surpasses one reference value or falls below another, the detection circuit outputs a detection signal. When receiving the detection signal, a pressure difference changer gradually increases or decreases the target value of the pressure differences accordingly.

摘要: A control valve controls the displacement of a variable displacement type compressor. The compressor has a crank chamber, a bleed passage, and a supply passage. An outlet valve portion located on the bleed passage to control the opening of the bleed passage. An inlet valve portion is located on the supply passage to control the opening of the supply passage. A transmission rod extends between the outlet valve portion and the inlet valve portion to connect the outlet valve portion to the inlet valve portion. The transmission rod moves axially. A through hole is located in the inlet valve portion to receive a part of the transmission rod. The through hole constitutes a part of the supply passage. A clearance is formed between the transmission rod and the through hole to constantly connect the discharge pressure zone to the crank chamber.

摘要: A variable displacement compressor includes a bleed passage for releasing gas from a crank chamber to a suction chamber and a supply passage for supplying gas from a discharge chamber to the crank chamber. A control valve includes an outlet valve mechanism located in the bleed passage and an inlet valve mechanism located in the supply passage. When the inlet valve mechanism is in the open state, the outlet valve mechanism is in the closed state. An outlet valve body of the outlet valve mechanism has a communication passage. When the outlet valve mechanism is in the closed state, the communication passage is opened to communicate the crank chamber with the suction chamber. Therefore, when the compressor is operating at the minimum displacement, a gas circuit is positively formed within the compressor, and atomized lubricant in refrigerant gas positively lubricates the moving parts of the compressor.

摘要: The present invention discloses a method for installing pistons in cylinder bores formed in a cylinder block of a compressor. The piston on one end of the cylinder block and a positioning jig on the other end of the cylinder block are arranged. The positioning jig is inserted into the cylinder bore such that part of the positioning jig protrudes from the cylinder bores toward the piston. The protruding part of the positioning jig is engaged with the piston to determine the position of the piston. The piston is inserted into the cylinder bore while maintaining the engagement between the jig and the piston. The positioning jig is removed from the cylinder bore. This facilitate automation of installation of pistons in cylinder bores.

The pressure difference between two points in a refrigeration circuit is monitored. The pressure difference represents the compressor displacement. The compressor is controlled by a control valve. The control valve operates based on the pressure difference. A controller compares the temperature of the passenger compartment with a temperature setting. If they differ, the controller determines a target pressure difference for the control valve. The controller computes the compressor torque based on the target pressure difference signal. The controller determines a target engine torque based on the compressor torque and controls the engine based on the target engine torque.

The movable end of the bellows includes a protrusion such that the spring and the movable end of the bellows are fitted to each other.

摘要: A compressor includes a discharge chamber and a retaining passage, which is located downstream of the discharge chamber. A control valve controls the displacement of the compressor in relation to the pressure difference between a first pressure monitoring point in the discharge chamber and a second pressure monitoring point in the retaining passage. A pressure introducing passage connects the retaining passage to the control valve. The pressure introducing passage has an opening to the retaining passage. An inlet member is located in the retaining passage to cover the opening. The inlet member has a pressure introducing port that functions as the second pressure monitoring point. The pressure of the refrigerant in the retaining passage is supplied from the pressure introducing port to the control valve through the pressure introducing passage. The inlet member easily alters the position of the pressure introducing port in the retaining passage.

摘要: Compressor has a driving unit. The driving unit is provided within a crank chamber and decreases the discharge capacity when a control valve opens a control passage to increase the pressure within the crank chamber. The throttle passage delivers oil with the compressed refrigerant to the crank chamber regardless of whether the control valve has opened or closed the control passage. Because the throttle passage may continuously deliver the oil to the crank chamber even when the control valve closes the control passage, the mechanical elements within the crank chamber can be reliably and sufficiently lubricated and the crank chamber is prevented from being in an insufficiently lubricated state.

摘要: A control valve is located in a variable displacement compressor that is installed in a refrigerant circuit. The control valve operates such that the pressure difference between first and second pressure monitoring points in the refrigerant circuit seeks a predetermined target value. The first pressure monitoring point is located in a discharge chamber of the compressor. The second pressure monitoring point is located in a flow pipe that extends from the discharge chamber. The static pressure of refrigerant in the discharge chamber is introduced into a control valve from the first pressure monitoring point. A pressure that includes the static pressure and the dynamic pressure of refrigerant in the flow pipe is introduced into the control valve from the second pressure monitoring point. As a result, the displacement of the compressor is reliably controlled without being affected by the thermal load of an evaporator.
