摘要: A relay apparatus for relaying a packet in radio communication by a wireless terminal in a communication area includes a packet monitoring part for obtaining data on a bandwidth to be used in the radio communication by the wireless terminal from a packet to be relayed, a bandwidth managing part for calculating and recording a total bandwidth in use used for the radio communication by the wireless terminal from the obtained data on a bandwidth, a retransmission adjusting part for determining an upper limit of a packet retransmission number, in accordance with an amount of an available bandwidth obtained by excluding a total bandwidth in use from a maximum bandwidth, and a retransmitting part for retransmitting a packet in a range not exceeding the upper limit of the packet retransmission number. Consequently, the relay apparatus enables retransmission appropriately adaptable to a use situation of a bandwidth by wireless communication of a wireless terminal in a communication area.

摘要: Method for altering service-provision sequence without leaving customers with a sense of unfairness. Question data Q1, Q2 containing question content, priority level, membership number, and other information is transmitted from questioner terminals 2a, b (#2, 5). An alter-sequence request to switch the sequential order of question data Q2 to a higher rank is transmitted from questioner terminal 2b to question administration server 1 (#7). 摘要: There is provided a base station apparatus which allocates communication bands for terminal units from an available communication band, and performs wireless communications with the terminal units using the allocated communication bands, including: a priority table storing priority information used for deriving a priority of the communication; a detecting part detecting a situation change concerning the communications; a band derivation part deriving communication bands required for the communications with terminal units to communicate, when the detecting part detects the situation change; a priority derivation part deriving priorities of the communications with the terminal units on the basis of the priority information stored in the priority table; and an allocating part allocating the communication bands derived by the band derivation part for the wireless communications with the terminal units in the order of descending priorities derived by the priority derivation part.

摘要: A method and system for providing area information anticipates the user's mode of transportation and destination and provides information specific to the anticipated mode of transportation and destination. The system comprises two information processing devices. The first transmits at least one item of area specific information and, the second receives at least one item of area specific information, wherein the first information processing device stores area specific information and corresponding location information in pairs, infers a mode of user transportation and estimates a destination of the user based on location information of a user of the second device, extracts at least one item of area information specific to the destination of the user, and transmits the at least one item of extracted area information to the second information processing device, and wherein the second information processing device receives the at least one item of area information from the first device.

摘要: In a presence system in which one user users a plurality of terminals, dynamically changing buddy lists are synchronized between the terminals. A presence notification message is sent to all the terminals of the user. The timing of sending includes, for example, when the presence information of a buddy is updated, when a new buddy is set, when display attribute information is updated, when a buddy is cancelled, and when a presence notification of unknown presentity is made. Thus, when one user uses a plurality of terminals in the presence system, dynamically changing buddy lists can be synchronized between the terminals. In addition, the display formats of the buddy lists do not differ from one terminal to another, and the same display format is attained.
