    摘要: An optical transmission system that can reduce a difference of Raman gain between each of upstream and downstream lines, in a system configuration in which Raman amplification is performed for both the upstream and downstream lines by a common Raman amplifier. Transmission sections are provided for both the upstream and downstream lines, and when pumping light, generated by a common pumping light source, is supplied to the transmission sections of the one line and the transmission sections of the other line, the negative dispersion fibers having different wavelength dispersion values are applied to the positive and negative hybrid transmission paths used for the transmission sections of each line, so that the length of each negative dispersion fiber is made substantially equal to each other.

    摘要: An optical connection switching according to the present invention comprises an optical connection switching fabric capable of making a connection between any one of optical input ports and any one of optical output ports, one or more optical transceiving units connected to a part of the optical input/output ports, and a management control unit for controlling the optical connection switching fabric to make a connection between the optical input/output port connected to the optical transceiving unit and the optical input/output port connected to the equipment for acquiring and managing information on the equipment by making a communication with the equipment through the use of the optical transceiving unit. This enables acquiring the information on the equipment having an optical communication interface to be optically connected, thereby automating the connection management of the equipment.

    摘要: A polarized electromagnetic device is disclosed having a generally I-shaped magnetic core member, a coil which is wound on the center portion of the core member, a pair of permanent magnets which are arranged in parallel with and outside of the respective end portions of the core member, and mutually confronting first and second armature plate members which are joined together through the pair of permanent magnets, with each magnet at the opposite end portions of the armature plate members in order to provide a spacing for accommodating the core member between the armature plate members, and consequently leaving a gap for relative movement therein. The core member and armature plate members are supported to be swingable relative to each other for movement about a center transverse axis of the center portion of the core member.
