摘要:
A hearing aid used for a low tone frequency band, a hearing aid used for a high tone frequency band, and a controller that compares sound pressure of the high tone frequency band split by a frequency band analyzer of the hearing aid used for the high tone frequency band with sound pressure of the high tone frequency band split by a frequency band analyzer of the hearing aid used for the low tone frequency band. If the sound pressure of the high tone frequency band of the hearing aid used for the low tone frequency band is higher by at least a specific amount than the sound pressure of the high tone frequency band of the hearing aid used for the high tone frequency band, the sound pressure of the high tone frequency band of the hearing aid used for the high tone frequency band is raised.

A large-diameter-side end surface (104a) of a cotter (104) can be supported by a cotter holder (32) from below through inserting a shaft member (102) along an inner periphery of the cotter (104) from above the cotter (104). In this state, a protrusion (104b) of the cotter (104) and an annular groove (102a) of the shaft member (102) are fitted to each other, and the cotter (104) and a retainer (103) are taper-fitted to each other. Consequently, the cotter is prevented from being unstable, and hence it is possible to assemble the retainer (103) and the cotter (104) to the shaft member (102) with good accuracy.

The process for purifying an ultraviolet absorber of the present invention is characterized by including an adsorbent treatment step of bringing the ultraviolet absorber into contact with an absorbent. According to the process, an ultraviolet absorber having a reduced odor, an improved hue and less skin irritation can be obtained.

An NOx sensor for an exhaust gas is made from .beta.-Nb.sub.2 O.sub.5 as a primary component and TiO.sub.2 as a subsidiary component. The TiO.sub.2 content is in a range of 0.1% by weight .ltoreq.TiO.sub.2 .ltoreq. 20% by weight. In place of TiO.sub.2, Ru may be used in the NOx sensor. The Ru content is in a range of 0.1% by weight .ltoreq.Ru.ltoreq. 10% by weight. Thus, the NOx sensor has an excellent NOx adsorbing ability and is higher in sensitivity to NOx in an exhaust gas.

Wear-resistant, sintered iron alloys are provided. The alloys have a structure in which iron-based hard particles having a relatively high Cr content and copper or copper alloy particles are dispersed in an iron alloy matrix containing a relatively low content of Cr. The alloys are prepared by compression molding powders of the matrix alloy, the hard alloy, copper or copper alloy, an Fe-P alloy and graphite and sintering the obtained molding at a temperature of 980.degree. to 1130.degree. C.

A hearing assistance suitability determining device (120) according to the present invention is a hearing assistance suitability determining device (120) which determines a suitability (153) of a subject for dichotic hearing assistance, and includes: a hearing ability information obtaining unit (130) which obtains left-ear hearing ability information (150) and right-ear hearing ability information (151) each of which indicates a hearing ability for frequencies; a hearing ability type determining unit (131) which determines, among hearing ability types each of which is defined by a tendency in a change of the hearing ability with respect to the frequencies, a hearing ability type (152) of the hearing ability indicated by the left-ear hearing ability information (150) and the right-ear hearing ability information (151); and a suitability deciding unit (132) which determines, with reference to a suitability database (144), the suitability (153) of the subject for the dichotic hearing assistance based on a suitability corresponding, in the suitability database (144), to the hearing ability type (152) determined by the hearing ability type determining unit (131), the suitability database (144) showing a correspondence relationship between each of the hearing ability types and one of suitabilities of the subject for dichotic hearing assistance.
