摘要: Systems and techniques for information centric network (ICN) heterogeneous wireless switching are described herein. A handover event, that includes an indication for a device to switch from a first wireless link to a second wireless link, may be detected. A forwarding interest base (FIB) table may be modified to route interest packets to the second wireless link. Although the device has switched to route new out-going interest packet to the second wireless link, the device accepts data packets on both the first wireless link and the second wireless link.

摘要: Described herein are technologies related to technologies for learning a route being traveled by a mobile device based upon 1) detection of ambient identifiable wireless signal (IWS) sources while the device is traveling the route and 2) assistance from centralized or network resource. The network assistance may, for example, provide information from other devices that has traveled the same route or part of the same route before. Consequently, the route is learned much faster than it would be otherwise. This Abstract is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope or meaning of the claims.

The method may include initially sensing by the device an interference from an interference source received by one or more of a plurality of sector antennas of the device. The device may then select, based at least in part on the sensing, a subset of the plurality of sector antennas for communicating with other devices in the wireless network.

摘要: A system is disclosed for quarantining and recovery of a network after an outage or in advance of a potential outage. Unaffected network slices are isolated and recovery is initiated by quarantine physical and virtual network functions. An AI model is trained based on recent events detected by sensors disposed throughout the network to determine whether to quarantine network slices, move services to unaffected network slices, or initiate recovery. Once the network is stabilized, resources that are specifically allocated for recovery and services are released and the traffic moved back to the recovered network slices.

摘要: System and techniques for geographic routing are described herein. A node receives a data packet that includes map data, a sequence of geographic areas to a requestor, and a target geographic area. The node may then determine that it is within the target geographic area and start a transmit timer based on a next-hop geographic area. Here, the next-hop geographic area is determined from the sequence of geographic areas in the data packet. The node may then counts how many other nodes from the geographic area sent data packets while the transmit timer is running. When the transmit timer expires, the node may transmit a modified data packet when the number of data packets is less than a predefined threshold. Here, the modified data packet is the data packet updated to include local map data and the next-hop geographic area.

摘要: System and techniques for information centric network (ICN) protocol for federated learning are described herein. An interest packet may be received on a first interface to start a federated learning round. Here, the interest packet includes a participant criterion and a federated learning round expiration. An entry, that includes the federated learning round expiration, is created in a pending interest table (PIT) for the interest packet. The interest packet is forwarded, in accordance with a forwarding information base (FIB), to a set of interfaces before the federated learning round expiration. When a data packet from a node, that meeting the participant criterion, is received in response to the interest packet, the data packet is forwarded on the first interface in accordance with the PIT entry.

An interest packet may be transmitted to map nodes within the coverage area. In an example, the interest packet specifies a group prefix. A group of nodes that respond to the interest packet may be selected as event detecting nodes. Then, an event subscription interest packet may be transmitted to the event-detecting nodes.

摘要: Systems and techniques for information centric network (ICN) approximate computation caching are described herein. For example, an interest packet that includes a feature set of input data may be received. A node may then perform a search of a local data store using the feature set to determine an approximate computation result cached in the local data store. Here, the approximate computation result may be based on input data that differs from the input data named in the interest packet. The node may then return the approximate computation result to an author of the interest packet in response to the search.
