    Abstract: A sensor apparatus and method are disclosed herein, including a sensor element located on a base and a cover located proximate to the base. The cover generally includes a sensor diaphragm and a dimple that can form a part of the cover. A flanged area or flanged portion can also be connected to the bottom portion of the cover. The flanged area provides a surface for contacting a fixture to which the sensor apparatus attaches and holding the sensor apparatus to the fixture in a manner which prevents the sensor diaphragm from contacting the fixture and inducing errors during sensor operations thereof. The cover also can include a flanged or brim-shaped portion which is connected to and surrounds the bottom portion of the cover. The flanged portion can be positioned parallel to the sensor diaphragm.

    Abstract: There is provided a fast acting subminiature cylindrical fuse having a cylindrical cover substantially locked onto a cylindrical base. The locking mechanism for the cover comprises a plurality of grooves and a plurality of corresponding projections on the internal surface of the cover and the external surface of the fuse base.     Abstract: A multifunctional multichip system can operate in a passive mode by using at least one antenna to receive electromagnetic energy and using that energy to perform system functions. The system includes a sensor, an impedance matching circuit and an RFID module. The sensor produces a sensor signal containing a measurement. The RFID can produce an identification signal containing identification information. Alternatively, the RFID chip can be used in an addressing mode wherein the system only produces a signal in response to an addressing signal containing addressing information. The addressing signal is received from the electromagnetic field. In either mode, the sensor signal is coupled from the antenna into the electromagnetic field from which a receiver can obtain it. The signal can contain the identification information as well as the measurement. A matching network minimizes the effects of impedance mismatches between the system elements.
