摘要: An assembly is provided that includes a first mount, a second mount and a fuse pin. The first mount is configured with a first aperture. The second mount is configured with a second aperture. The fuse pin is mated with the first aperture and the second aperture. The fuse pin connects the first mount and the second mount together. The fuse pin has an axis, and is configured with a plurality of slots arranged circumferentially about the axis. A first of the slots has a length measured along the axis. The second mount has a thickness measured along the axis at an interface between the fuse pin and the second mount. The length is greater than the thickness.

摘要: A method of making printed circuit board vias using a double drilling and plating method is disclosed. A first hole is drilled in a core, the first hole having a first diameter. The first hole is filled and/or plated with an electrically conductive material. A circuit pattern may be formed on one or two conductive layers of the core. A multilayer structure may then be formed including a plurality of cores that also include pre-drilled and plated via holes, wherein at least some of the pre-drilled and plated via holes are aligned with the first hole. A second hole is then drilled within the first hole and the aligned pre-drilled and plated holes, the second hole having a second diameter where the second diameter is smaller than the first diameter. A conductive material is then plated to an inner surface of the second hole.

摘要: Provided are a fuse resistor and a method of manufacturing the same, more particularly, are a fuse resistor mounted at an electric circuit of an electronic product to prevent the electronic product from breaking down due to inrush current, increase of internal temperature, and continuous overcurrent, and a method of manufacturing the same. The fuse resistor is capable of simplifying an assembly process by coupling a thermal fuse and a lead wire in a modularized manner and by fixing a fusing lead wire to the lead wire in an integrated manner to form a lower molding unit, and a method of manufacturing the same. The fuse resistor has a simple structure and is capable of being miniaturized as an integrated structure of the thermal fuse and the lead wire is inserted, and a method of manufacturing the same.

摘要: A circuit protection assembly (CPA) is disposed between a source of power and a circuit to be protected. The CPA comprises a mounting block having a bore extending therethrough and a recess cavity on a first surface of the mounting block. A post having a first end is disposed within the recess cavity and a body portion extends through the bore. The body portion configured to receive a terminal and the second end configured to receive a securing mechanism. A fuse having a centrally disposed aperture is configured to receive the body portion of the post and to receive the terminal for connection to a circuit to be protected. An insulator disposed on the terminal and disposed beneath the securing mechanism. The insulator configured to isolate the post from the terminal and the fuse while allowing the securing mechanism to apply an amount of torque.

The first portion may be a fuse-link and the second portion may be a cathode coupled to the fuse-link through a narrow neck region. The control element may be, for example, a slit, a hole, a conductive contact, etc.

摘要: An improved fuse including a fuse body formed of an electrically insulative material. The fuse body defines a cavity which extends from a first end of the fuse body to a second end of the fuse body. A fusible element is disposed within the cavity and extends from a first end face of the first end of the fuse body to a second end face of the second end of the fuse body. Insulated plugs are disposed within the cavity at the first and second ends of the fuse body wherein the plugs adhere to an interior surface of the fuse body and form seals that close the internal cavity. The fuse may further include end terminations that are applied to the ends of the fuse body in electrical contact with the fusible element.

摘要: A circuit protection assembly can include a conductive assembly post that supports a first conductive element, a non-conductive isolator, a second conductive element, a fuse, and a fastener. The first and second conductive elements can be positioned in close proximity to one another below the fuse. A first portion of the isolator can separate the first and second conductive elements. A second portion of the isolator can separate the conductive assembly post from the second conductive element. The first conductive element can be coupled to a power source and the second conductive element can be coupled to a downstream circuit. The fuse can protect the downstream circuit during specified overvoltage and/or overcurrent conditions and can be quickly and efficiently installed and replaced without the need to remove or reattach the conductive elements or any other cabling or wires.
