Abstract: A dehumidification system includes a compressor, a primary evaporator, a primary condenser, a secondary evaporator, and a secondary condenser. The secondary evaporator receives an inlet airflow and outputs a first airflow to the primary evaporator. The primary evaporator receives the first airflow and outputs a second airflow to the secondary condenser. The secondary condenser receives the second airflow and outputs a third airflow to the primary condenser. The primary condenser receives the third airflow and outputs a dehumidified airflow. The compressor receives a flow of refrigerant from the primary evaporator and provides the flow of refrigerant to the primary condenser.

Abstract: A portable dehumidifier includes a cabinet, a fan, a dehumidification system, and a compressor. The cabinet includes a front side and a back side opposite the front side, an airflow inlet located on a first side of the cabinet, and an airflow outlet located on a second side of the cabinet that is opposite the first side. The dehumidification system includes a secondary evaporator located proximate to the airflow inlet, a primary condenser located proximate to the airflow outlet, a primary evaporator located adjacent to the secondary evaporator, a secondary condenser located between the primary evaporator and the primary condenser, and a compressor. The fan is configured to generate an airflow that flows into the cabinet through the airflow inlet and out of the cabinet through the airflow outlet. The airflow flows through the dehumidification system in order to provide dehumidification to the airflow.

Abstract: A dehumidifier includes an evaporator, a condenser, a fan, and a processor. In response to determining that a measured relative humidity is greater than or equal to a relative humidity set point, the processor sets the dehumidifier to a first operating mode, wherein a compressor is enabled and the fan is set to a first fan speed while in the first operating mode. The processor further determines whether the dehumidifier has been operating in the first operating mode for a predetermined amount of time, and in response, sets the dehumidifier to a second operating mode if the measured relative humidity is still greater than the relative humidity set point, wherein the compressor is enabled and the fan is set to a second fan speed while in the second operating mode. The second fan speed is greater than the first fan speed.

The cabinet includes an airflow inlet, an airflow outlet, and at least two wheels. The evaporator is located adjacent to the airflow inlet. The condenser is located adjacent to the evaporator and on a side of the evaporator opposite the airflow inlet. The drain pan is located at least partially below the evaporator and the condenser. The support legs extend from a bottom side of the drain pan towards the bottom side of the cabinet. The compressor is located below the drain pan. The fan is located adjacent to the condenser and on a side of the condenser opposite the evaporator.

Abstract: A dehumidification system includes an evaporator, a condenser positioned proximate to the evaporator, and a drain pan. The drain pan is disposed at least partially below the evaporator and the condenser. The drain pan includes a top piece and a bottom piece disposed at least partially below the top piece. The top piece includes a drainage opening, and is configured to collect water condensed from the evaporator and drain the condensed water to the bottom piece via the drainage opening. The bottom piece includes an enclosed wall, and the condensed water drained from the top piece is directed into an area of the bottom piece that is at least partially surrounded by the enclosed wall.

Abstract: A portable dehumidifier includes a plurality of microchannel condenser coils, a fan, and a retractable handle. The fan is located adjacent to an airflow outlet and is configured to generate an airflow that flows into the portable dehumidifier through an airflow inlet and out of the portable dehumidifier through the airflow outlet. The airflow flows through an evaporator and the plurality of microchannel condenser coils in order to provide dehumidification to the airflow. The retractable handle is configured to slide into and out of the portable dehumidifier and to pivot upwards and lock into a tilted position to allow for transport of the portable dehumidifier.

Abstract: A dehumidifier includes a desiccant, a cabinet, a first fan, and a second fan. The cabinet comprises a process airflow inlet, a process airflow outlet, a reactivation airflow inlet, and a reactivation airflow outlet that is located adjacent to the desiccant. The first fan generates a process airflow through a first portion of the desiccant as it rotates in order to provide dehumidification. The process airflow enters the cabinet through the process airflow inlet and exits the cabinet through the process airflow outlet. The second fan generates a reactivation airflow through a second portion of the desiccant as it rotates in order to dry the desiccant. The reactivation airflow enters the cabinet through the reactivation airflow inlet and exits the cabinet through the reactivation airflow outlet.

Abstract: A portable dehumidifier includes a plurality of microchannel condenser coils and a fan. The first microchannel condenser coil is located so as to receive the airflow after it has passed through the evaporator. The second microchannel condenser coil is located proximate to the first microchannel condenser coil on a side of the microchannel condenser coil so as to receive the airflow after it has passed through the first microchannel condenser coil.
