    摘要: A plug connector for electrically connecting a printed wiring board with a card-edge connector includes a first connector-contact arrangement and a second connector-contact arrangement. The first connector-contact arrangement is inserted to the card-edge connector and includes a first blade with a front surface having a recessed surface partly recessed therefrom and a plurality of first contact components arranged parallel one with another in the first blade. The second connector-contact arrangement is inserted to a card-edge connector and includes a second blade with a front surface having a recessed surface partly recessed therefrom and a plurality of second contact components arranged parallel one with another in the second blade. When a plug connector is formed by assembling the first and second connector-contact arrangements together, the first connector-contact arrangement is electrically connected with one printed wiring board through press-contact or push-contact while the second connector-contact arrangement is electrically connected therewith through clamp-contact.

    摘要: In the connector body, which has side portions for guiding the side surfaces of the IC card, a bottom portion having a support surface to support a front surface or back surface of the inserted IC card and stepped portions to engage the raised surface portion formed on the back surface so that the raised surface portion can be moved in an IC card , insertion/retraction direction, and a top plate portion disposed opposite the bottom portion to prevent the inserted IC card from floating upward; a leaf spring is provided to urge the IC card upward at a predetermined position with respect to the card insertion direction. The top plate portion has a blocking portion which engages the raised surface portion of the IC card at a predetermined blocking position and is disposed in front, with respect to the IC card insertion direction, of the predetermined position where the IC card is urged by the leaf spring.

    摘要: An apparatus detects a trailing end of a memory card in a memory card reader. The apparatus has a first driven switch element resiliently displaced by the memory card and a second driven switch element resiliently displaced by the first driven switch element. The first driven switch element includes a first resilient contact piece extending in a direction of insertion of the memory card. The second driven switch element includes a second resilient contact piece likewise extending in the direction of insertion of the memory card. The first and second resilient contact pieces are arranged such that they extend along a surface of the memory and face each other in a direction of the thickness of the memory card. After electrode pads arranged on the surface of the memory card inserted into a reader are brought into contact with corresponding contacts arranged in the reader, the first resilient contact piece is pressed by a front end edge portion of the memory card and resiliently displaced in the direction of the thickness of the memory card so as to contact the second resilient contact pieces. The second resilient piece is pressed by the first resilient piece and resiliently displaced in the direction of the thickness of the memory card so as to provide a wiping action on a pressure contacting portion.

    摘要: A surface mount type IC socket comprises first and second cover retainers respectively disposed over a full length of opposing side surfaces of a socket body, and a seat piece disposed on each end of the first and second retainers and adapted to be arranged in an area in the vicinity of a lower part of each corner portion of the socket body. The seat piece is soldered to a conductive pattern on a surface of a wiring board at an area in the vicinity of the corner part of each corner portion. An engagement piece is disposed on each end of the first and second cover retainers and protrudes sidewardly from a side surface of each corner portion of the socket body. An engagement claw disposed on each corner portion of an IC presser cover formed of a conductive plate is engaged with a respective engagement element so that the cover is removably mounted on the socket body.
