摘要： A multimer peptide from a snake venom has an activity to inhibit binding between von Willebrand factor and platelets. The multimer peptide is used to obtain a single strand peptide which does not substantially cause decrease in platelets at a minimum dose for exhibiting the activity in vivo. The single strand peptide is obtained by allowing the multimer peptide to exist together with a protein-denaturing agent, and glutathione and/or cysteine, and thereby disconnecting disulfide bonds between peptide chains for constituting the multimer peptide while substantially preserving disulfide bonds within the peptide chains. Alternatively, the single strand peptide, a mutant thereof, or a part thereof is produced by genetic engineering techniques by using genes coding for them.

摘要： A solid electrolyte gas sensor comprising: a base plate of a solid electrolyte, on which are disposed a detecting electrode for detecting a selected gas, a reference electrode, and a conductor portion for external connection such as an outer lead.A process of producing a joined body of a ceramic member and a hard-to-sinter oxyacid salt crystal, the process comprising the steps of: impregnating a melt of a hard-to-sinter oxyacid salt such as a sulphate or a carbonate into a porous ceramic plate having micropores extending through the entire thickness thereof; then cooling the impregnated ceramic plate to form a composite plate composed of the ceramic plate with the micropores filled with a crystal of the hard-to-sinter oxyacid salt; and joining the composite plate to a ceramic base.A process of producing a hard-to-sinter oxyacid salt crystal on, and joined to, a ceramic base, the process comprising the steps of: forming a metal film on a ceramic base; anodizing the metal film to form a porous oxide film having numerous micropores extending through the entire thickness thereof; melting a hard-to-sinter oxyacid salt such as a sulphate or a carbonate on the porous oxide film, thereby causing the porous oxide film to be impregnated with a melt of the salt; and then cooling the ceramic base, together with the oxide film, to form a crystal of the hard-to-sinter oxyacid salt joined to the ceramic base.

摘要： A 1-alkyl-1,2,4,5-tetrahydro-3H-1,4-benzodiazepine derivative is produced by contacting a 1-aminoethyl-indole derivative with a suitable oxidizing agent and then reducing the resulting 1-acyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-1,4-benzodiazepine derivative. The starting 1-aminoethyl-indole derivative is prepared by subjecting a 3-phenyl-indole derivative to cyanomethylation (or carbamoylemethylation) and then reducing the resulting 1-cyanomethyl- (or 1-carbamoylmethyl)-indole derivative. The 1-acyl-1,2,4,5-tetrahydro-3H-1,4-benzodiazepine derivative is useful as a tranquillizer, muscle-relaxant, etc.
