    摘要: The present invention reduces the scale of circuitry and shortens the code phase detection time needed to achieve initial synchronization. In a correlator for calculating correlation between a received spreading code contained in a received spread-spectrum signal and a reference spreading code, a combined code generator is included. The combined code generator outputs a combined spreading code by weighting and combining a plurality of phase-shifted reference spreading codes A1–AM. Further, an arithmetic circuit calculates correlation between the received spreading code and the plurality of phase-shifted reference spreading codes simultaneously. A phase detection circuit detects the phase difference between the received spreading code and a reference spreading code, namely the phase of the received spreading code from the results of the arithmetic operation.

    摘要: The invention relates to a radar device for measuring a relative distance to a target. It is an object of the invention to precisely determine the relative distance to the target in a wide range. The radar device according to the invention generates a second pulse by demodulating a signal arriving from a target as a response to a wave signal modulated with a first pulse. The radar device evaluates, as the relative distance to the target, such two different instances that an absolute value of a deviation of a ratio of two instantaneous values of the second pulse from a reference value as a ratio of two instantaneous values of the first pulse is to be minimum. The respective two instantaneous values are with a predetermined interval therebetween on a time axis.

    摘要: A MIMO wireless communication system and wireless communication apparatuses are disclosed that increase the practically usable communication channel capacity in the Shannon channel capacity that determines the ratio of maximum signal transmission speed to frequency. Each wireless communication apparatus includes antenna units that transmit and receive radio frequency signals, and a weight controlling unit that provides weights with respect to the antenna units. The antenna units are formed by adaptive array antenna units that can change the directivity by varying weights with respect to antenna elements. The weight controlling unit includes an eigenvalue calculating unit that calculates the eigenvalues of a matrix HH* (H being a channel matrix), an inverse calculation unit that calculates such a channel matrix H′ as to have all eigenvalues within a predetermined range that includes the average value-of the calculated eigenvalues, and a directivity adjusting unit that adjusts the adaptive array antenna directivity so that the current channel matrix H approaches the calculated channel matrix H′.

    摘要: A multi-carrier signal received by an antenna is converted into a signal of an IF band by an RX, and converted into an I signal and a Q signal by an quadrature detector. The I signal and the Q signal as multi-carrier signals are converted into digital signals by an A/D converter, and input to complex filters. The complex filters extract a complex signal having a specified carrier. Then, complex filters shift the center frequency of the extracted complex signal into 0 Hz. The obtained base band signal is input to a finger, and despread and demodulated. The despread and demodulated signal is RAKE synthesized by a synthesis unit, and transmitted to a signal discrimination unit.
