    摘要: The technology disclosed provides the ability for a subframe to be configured as a “flexible” subframe. As a result, at least three different types of subframes in a TDD system may be configured: a downlink (“DL”) subframe, an uplink (“UL”) subframe, and a “flexible” subframe. While the DL and UL subframes are preconfigured for each frame instance, the flexible subframes are dynamically allocated to be an uplink subframe in one instance of a frame and a downlink subframe in another instance of the frame.

    摘要: Systems and methods for landscape sensing using radio signals are provided. In some embodiments, a base station configured to communicate with a User Equipment (UE) includes a radio interface and processing circuitry configured to: obtain a plurality of channel measurements relating to the UE; and determine a landscape type in which the UE is operating based on the plurality of channel measurements. In this way, the base station can infer the UE's landscape without the need for any new sensor or radar infrastructure requirements. In this way, the signaling need between base stations can be reduced. In some embodiments, smaller dimension input features will reduce the computational complexity so that it can be implemented on an embedded base station hardware.

    摘要: According to some embodiments, a method for use in a wireless transmitter of a wireless communication network comprises providing control information relating to a slot. The control information includes an indication of whether the slot is of a first type or a second type. A slot of the first type starts at a slot interval boundary, and a slot of the second type either starts between slot interval boundaries and has arbitrary length or starts at a slot interval boundary and has reduced length. The control information includes an implicit or explicit reference signal timing indication if the slot is of the second type. The method further comprises transmitting the control information to a wireless receiver.
