摘要: A refrigerating apparatus has a refrigerating cycle including an electromotive compressor whose operational speed is variable in accordance with a drive frequency, and a control unit for operating the compressor at a frequency correspondent to a load so as to control the operation of the refrigerating cycle. Control of the operational frequency of the compressor by the control unit is effected on the basis of target super heat amounts of a discharged gas which is predetermined over an operational frequency range of the compressor. The target super heat amounts are set such that within a lower region of the operational frequency range, each target amount is larger than a super heat amount at which the maximum refrigeration capability is obtained at each operational frequency, so as to suppress a suction pressure of the compressor within an allowable limit for the compressor.

摘要: In a switching power supply device which intermittently executes a switching operation, a power loss which occurs in resumption of the switching operation is reduced. A semiconductor device works as a control circuit for the switching power supply device, and includes: an intermittent oscillation control circuit which alternately gives an instruction for execution and suspension of the switching operation of a switching element; a bottom detecting circuit which detects a bottom of a ringing voltage that develops when the switching element is OFF; a bottom-monitoring time period timing circuit which times a bottom-monitoring time period starting as soon as the instruction for the execution of the switching operation is given; and a turn-on control circuit which turns ON, before the timing of the bottom-monitoring time period ends, the switching element only when the bottom of the ringing voltage is detected.

摘要: A semiconductor device providing a control circuit for controlling a switching power supply apparatus includes: an intermittent-oscillation control circuit which outputs an enable signal providing instructions to execute and suspend switching alternately; a turn-on control circuit which changes between an execution state and a suspension state of the switching according to the enable signal, and outputs, only in the execution state, a turn-on signal which turns on the switching element with a switching period; and an intermittent-oscillation frequency control circuit which causes the turn-on control circuit to delay the changing between the execution state and the suspension state so that an intermittence period including periods during which the turn-on control circuit is in the execution state and the turn-on control circuit is in the suspension state falls outside of a specific time range. Intermittent oscillation is thus operated out of a specific frequency band within an audible frequency range.

摘要: The present invention provides a switching power supply which reduces power consumption in a standby state and improves power supply efficiency. At the time of starting a standby mode in which the output voltage VFB of the IV converter exceeds a standby detection upper limit voltage from a reference voltage source, the switching operation of the switching element is stopped. This stopping reduces the output voltage VFB of the IV converter along with a power supply voltage VO. When the output voltage VFB is lower than a standby detection lower limit voltage from the reference voltage source, the switching operation of the switching element is resumed.

摘要: A control system for controlling cooling equipment comprising a refrigerant circuit for cooling water by heat exchange, a plurality of cooling modules in a backup relationship with an adjusting apparatus for adjusting the cooling capability of the refrigerant circuit and a controller controlling the adjusting apparatus for adjusting the cooling capability, a control module having a coolant temperature sensor and a controller for calculating a cooling capability control command based on the value detected by the coolant temperature sensor. The controller in one of the cooling modules controls the adjusting apparatus and on the cooling capability control commend transmitted from the controller in the control module. Each of the cooling modules has a coolant temperature sensor for detecting the same coolant temperature as detected by the coolant temperature sensor of the control module so that, when an abnormality occurs in the coolant temperature sensor in the control module, the controller in the control module calculates the cooling capability control command based on the value detected by the coolant temperature sensor in the cooling module. The control system is therefore capable of performing a backup operation effective for the occurrence of an abnormality in the control module.
