摘要： A thrust roller bearing comprises a plurality of cylindrical rollers each having a rolling surface on its side surface and a cage formed of a disk-shaped member having a hole formed in the center and comprising a plurality of pockets penetrating in a thickness direction for housing the rollers. The pocket has a plurality of stopper parts at a wall surface opposed to the rolling surface of said roller, and a plurality of guide parts between said adjacent stopper parts. When it is assumed that the distance between the outer wall surface of said pocket in the diameter direction and the guide part located on the outer side in the diameter direction of the two guide parts is L1 and the distance between the inner wall surface of said pocket in the diameter direction and the guide part located inner side in the diameter direction of the two guide parts is L3, it is satisfied that L1>L3.

摘要： A head actuator is made thinner without sacrificing its strength to thereby achieve the thinning of a hard disk apparatus. On the base end of each of two suspensions is provided a boss that protrudes in the direction of the side on which a magnetic head is provided, and a suspension fixing section having a hole into which the bosses are inserted is formed towards the tip of an arm. The boss of one of the suspensions is inserted into the hole from the upper end section thereof, and the boss of the other suspension is inserted into the hole from the lower end section thereof. Thus, the arm is fixed in place by being held by the two suspensions from above and below.

The disk cartridge includes a slidable shutter for opening and closing the head-positioning-mechanism insertion slot by its sliding operation. The rotary head-positioning mechanism includes a rotation actuator for inserting the head unit into the disk cartridge through the head-positioning-mechanism insertion slot.According to the disk storage apparatus, it is possible to provide the disk storage apparatus which makes it difficult for the dusts to enter the disk cartridge and has a high reliability in the recording and/or reproduction.
